NPR promotes class warfare!
As to our Congress, 47% are millionaires...

Another report suggests 67% of Congress are millionaires...
http://www.mediaite.com/online/report-nearly-half-of-congress...
Here's an interesting quote...
"That said, some members of Congress do considerably better than others. Rep. Darrell Issa,
R-Calif., topped the list with an estimated net worth of somewhere
between $195 million and $700 million, for example, while Rep. Alcee Hastings,
D-Fla., is apparently the poorest member of Congress, with estimated
total net debt of between $2 million and $7 million. According to the
study, though, 110 Democrats and 140 Republicans in Congress are
millionaires. What’s more, the numbers are conservative, since the top income
bracket for their spouses is listed as “$1 million or more,” and the
financial disclosure forms don’t include assets like the personal home
of a member of Congress."
Doesn't this make them part of the 1%?
But back to NPR...poor reporting or just lying by omission?
I knew there was a reason I don't support NPR...

They seem to have taken a wrong turn somewhere.
See you when I get back
Printed word is about all I can handle...
Good one!
They oughta send that skunk down here for a Vacation.......hee hee heeeeeeeee
It is a spending problem not a revenue problem.
The White House said in a report released ahead of Obama's speech that the tax proposal would restore fairness to the system, pointing to 22,000 households earning more than $1 million annually that paid less than 15 percent of their income in income taxes in 2009. Nearly 1,500 of those households paid no federal income taxes, the report said.

Take Romney he paid under 15%..
Are you really that stupid?
"pointing to 22,000 households earning more than $1 million annually that paid less than 15 percent of their income in income taxes in 2009. Nearly 1,500 of those households paid no federal income taxes, the report said."
You twisted what the NPR said.
You lied.
Or even interest on your Bank account if you have an interest bearing account. All of which you claim on your yearly tax forms.
And bear in mind that a Millionaire today is not worth as much in buying power as say 10 years ago due to decreased value of the dollar. So this report is just another way to get the middle class and less fortunate inflamed against the wealthy.
It's class warfare at it's finest.
