Socialism will continue to fail because it's not, really, as fair as everyone wants to believe it is. The fat cats at the top will always end up with more power and possessions than the peons at the bottom.
Socialism is a failure where ever it goes. THisis why All the FDR established the Socialist rules are failing. And it;s always been under the Democrat Banmmer . They are the theives from which they will blamed others
They are finally running out of other people's money. Watch out America, you could be next if there's another 4 years of what we've already had with Obama.
It's not socialism that's behind the problems in the mediterranean countries, its the Euro. Where-as mediterranean countries like Greece before could be given free reign to organise their own affairs (albeit probably with a little bit of help) when they hit trouble, now that they are part of a single currency, richer countries like Germany view it as their duty to help out the struggling countries by lending them money with certain provisos attached. But these demands made in excahnge for the bailouts add further problems to solving the crisis and the continued cycle and escalation of debt and repayment long term seems to be making things worse.
So its a no to socialism causing these ills, but a yes to the eurozone countries never having a proper contingency plan to deal with the problems that have arisen during the recession.
Please copy and paste anywhere in my post where I defended or supported socialism. I merely said that it isn't behind the riots in Spain, the problems with the single currency are.
Those rioting in the streets are the ones dependent on the government. They were piling on the debt long before the recession. It is clear socialism caused the mess and the riots.
But non socialist states such as the United States also piled on lots of debt. And other socialist countries with high dependency on the government such as most of North and Western Europe are not rioting, so surely there must be another factor involved that has triggered this calamity, which in this case is the cock-up with the Euro.
It is primarily our entitlements and progressive tax system that is racking up the debt. The closer we steal towards socialism, the more debt we have. I do admit there are issues with how the EU is set up, but those rioting in the streets are those dependent on big government here just as in Europe. That is a result of socialist policies
it hasn't failed everywhere YET but it will, it is a matter of time. Eventually you run out of money to pay for everything for everyone. Democrats/liberals/progressives think we need to be like socialist Europe. It is insanity! Trying the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome is insanity. All these countries have ran different types of socialist systems and they have not worked. "Oh, but America will do it right". Please!
For decades, the democrat have been saying, we need to be more like Europe. Well, proof positive that the democrats policies have failed, yet, they keep pushing for the same failed policies. When you see these riots and the OWS protestors, it is not the productive rioting that have been abused. It is the greedy, lazy, and unappreciative entitlement junkies that destroyed te country. They do not appreciate anything they have been given because corrupt politicians willing to destroy the country to buy votes told them they are entitled to it. Now these lazy people have forgotten how to even be productive meme era of society and they riot in the streets to continue to steal more and more from their neighbors. It is freaking pathetic. I is time to play adult an expect able bodies people to take responsibility for themselves. It is the only sustainable answer, and when did that become so hard to expect. Just be an adult and take care of your damn self.
yeah like those public schools, libraries, police dept, fire dept, streets and street lights etc. do you use any of those? if so then you are a socialist for feeling you are entitled to safety and education.
And it's quite ironic..they would have failed much sooner had we not subsidized their economies with our tax dollars and our military support.....We've been propping up these socialized nations for years and now that our economy is in the dumper, they will crash and burn.
Spain does not have a socialist form of Government
So its a no to socialism causing these ills, but a yes to the eurozone countries never having a proper contingency plan to deal with the problems that have arisen during the recession.
