Now that Romney appears to be the ONLY viable candidate, should the GOP invest in a lot of barf bags for the people who will actually vote for him?

nope, because I think 1. Romney will have some serious stumbles and 2. Ron Paul is the REAL viable candidate. Romney is viable as a straw Ken doll placeholder for the R nomination, and only as a straw opponent to Obama. It is VERY clear to me that the reason the R party pushes candidates on their members from the top down, is that those orders come from the oligarchy elite who don't care who wins because they're both sellouts, or else they are guaranteed to lose to their chosen child, currently Obama.

Not going to upchuck and after three years of puking, I'll be relieved when Mitt wins in November. I still have a few Hype and Chains imprinted barf bags from the Campaigner in Chief who sent them to me for turning his own team's schemes in to AttackWatch.

there wouldn't be any relief with Mitt in office... not that it's going to happen. the only relief will be if RP manages to get up in there.

if by "messy" they mean, messy like Kennedy's head, messy for the oligarch elites who'll have to assassinate the People's President in order to shut him up... if someone like RP or GJ got up in there

Romney just got another ringing endorsement from one his fellow Republicans who is also a member of the Mormon Church. On Meet the Press, Rep. Raul Labrador had this to say about Romney appearing to have the nomination wrapped up:

"I'm not going to go out and endorse him, but I think he's going to be the candidate. And I do believe it's time for Republicans to get around... uh, to get behind him."

House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, the third-ranking House Republican, is the top-ranking member of leadership to meet with Romney. Asked if he was going ready to endorse the GOP front-runner, McCarthy smiled and replied: "Stay tuned."

I've never witnessed such desperation in a candidate for endorsements. It would be hard to watch if it didn't portend the utter destruction of the Republican Party.

I have a strong stomach, and I suspect most who will vote for Anyone-But-the-Zero (A.K.A., The Romney Android) can manage to vote for it w/o tossing cookies. Anything to avert another four years of stinking up the white House with the smell of decaying socialism. The worst we can expect from The Romney Android is some ameliorated programming of its algorithms by Country Club Repugnican'ts and TEA Party-ish Patriots... and, as a matter of fact, that's probably the best, too. In any case, The Romney Android would be several orders of magnitude better than The Zero, and IF enough folks get off their lazy butts and vote for their GRANDCHILDREN'S future, the House and Senate will have fewer Dhimmicrap and Repugnican't members of the Uniparty, and MAYBE enough actual decent congresscritters to stem the tide of ruin. Maybe.

It's a sure bet the WH won't have any Mao/Lenin/Che Christmas ornaments on the holiday trees, a Bible will be used for the swearing in instead of the Koran, czars will be non-existent and when the president goes on vacation, he won't be going solo and will probably pay for it himself. Those are all pluses in my book.

It's time to tell Romney to drop out of the race. All he's doing is splitting the vote.

really? you gotta admit he is 1000 times better than what we have now. im putting my full support behind him. hes attracting the independents and the moderates which is why he won so many of the primaries. i think he will be good especially once he gets a decent running mate.

huh? sounds like you are talking about RP. coz about 4 & 1/2 people will get behind Romney IF he gets a decent running mate. til then, he'll have to keep paying people to hold his signs! and illegally handing out subs.. hahaha

He's ONLY a viable candidate if conservatives vote how the Republican Party tells them to vote. If people decide to vote their conscience and their own brains, we just may have Gary Johnson as our next President, and he should be a great one!! He won the Libertarian nomination with 70% of the vote.

Could be. But I don't think Paul can win even though he beats the others all the way to town. Johnson and Paul understand the value and the meaning of liberty - none of the others seem to.
