Well my friend, we'll agree to disagree here. I've never been very good at 'what if's."
I'm quite serious about my statement. I believe he's one and done. The only way I think he stays is if he creates that "crisis" that others allude to and then declares martial law. It's the only peton he can hammer in to the rock face and cling to, to escape free falling IMO.
And then......it's just my opinion right? We all have our own.

It's a myth. The only language about this was in the first bill, the one that didn't pass the Senate. Even there, it was only about regulations for any implants that come to market.

It is not law of the land yet. The courts have set it up so it can very easily be overturned by congress. The bill was passed by the senate and the senate has no power to pass a tax on the people. Filler buster has been lowered to 50 which makes it easy to get it over turned with a lib controlled Senate if they still have majority come 2013. Thank you Roberts for making this easy!

I try not to submit to the sensationalist thinking that we are days away from being chipped, but it is something I can see being SOP within, what, 20 years? 10 years? And when it comes, there will probably be a completely plausible reason for doing so; ease of medical records, finding lost children, donor database, et cetera. But it's still pretty scary to think about, no matter who is behind it...

Why should I? I am going on Medicare this year and paid for it for a long time. Will collect Social Security in another year and have waited to get the max. Why? Because even though I have been retired for 7 years, I didn't need it to do just fine. Why? Because I planned, worked and invested. And the market is doing just fine thank you. I am also a Veteran. I also have private health insurance and will continue on with it. Basically, the government program is a good thing. A bit late but... And of all the things a government can provide, health care should be a basic. All the rest is garbage!
