Obamatax hasn't been passed, it has just taken one more step down the road to defeat.

Now that Obamatax IS the biggest tax increase in the history of the world...does that make Obama the biggest liar in the history of the world?

Which guy will you be voting for? The one who implemented the same legislation in Massachusetts or the one who now bitterly opposes it? Must be difficult to trust him though, right? Where will he stand tomorrow? I don’t suppose anybody (including Romney) knows the answer to that question.

I never said I wasn't a citizen (in fact, I said the opposite), and I never said Britain is better than the US. You need to hone your reading and/or comprehension skills.

As it happens, I was inadvertently born (ironically enough) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (parents on holiday) and raised in London. I love the US. I attended university here. I've CHOSEN her as my home.

Doesn't mean I can't be honest ...or does it? If see fit, I'll call anybody I'd like a twit (or worse). You fit into the 'or worse' category, but I must be mindful of the TOS. Shame.

But, of course, this is all simply a diversionary tactic, as you’re unable to hold your own on the topic at hand.

    Oh Christ …now this!

You SHOULD know that a ‘turn of phrase’ is generally a unique and skilful way of expressing a thought/idea, not effing up an exceedingly common phrase already in use.

And if by ‘symantics’ you meant the word having to do with quibbling over the meaning of something, that word is properly spelt with an E, that is, semantics. Write that on your index card next to obsequious, puerile, and sycophant. I expect you’ll find some absurd way of sneaking it into a future comment to 'prove' your intelligence …crafty bugger that you are. Well, at least you’ll get it right then.

I see, we’re at ad hominem now.

It’s not my fault you think knowing the definition of puerile makes you an intellectual.

It’s not my fault you can’t spell semantics.

It’s not my fault (nor Ace's) that you don’t know the meaning of a turn of phrase.

It’s not my fault that you haven’t made one substantive comment throughout.

It’s not my fault you adhere strictly to your party’s talking points and have no ability to suss things out on your own.

It’s not my fault you have an exceptionally fragile ego.

All of those are YOUR problems. But rather than take responsibility, you’ve blamed them on the fact that I’m a LWNJ and less than a man, or that Ace has her 'panties in a bunch'. VERY bad form, mate (VERY bad) …no sportsmanship at all.

This, by the way, is how the least developed (mentally speaking) of high school students handle defeat. But you’re a bit too old to be in an adolescent phase of development. The human brain is fully developed at age 25.

You’re not intelligent simply because you say so …you’ve got to earn that. That takes effort: study, discussion, consideration.

You’ll attack me again because your adolescent mind will demand it, but I’m quite finished, thanks.

And you’re also correct in stating Republicans in Congress have stopped working for the good of their constituents in order to pursue blatant obstructionism. They don’t want to do their jobs; they should resign …simple. I feel certain there are good men and women in this country able and willing to take their places. I don’t think one could ever say obstructionism is an effective and agreeable means of governance.

If they’re being paid by the federal government and they’re not doing the jobs they’re paid to do, they are simply very well-paid welfare recipients. I don’t know how anybody could argue otherwise. Let them wait in line at hospital ER room for 12 hours. Blighters!
