and how was this going to be paid for, if those who can afford to buy insurance wont buy it, all people who actually paid attention to what the Bill said and does know that those who did not get health insurance once all provisions kick end, will have to pay a fine. We all knew this, but conservatives were to busy talking about death panels and tracking chips, instead of actually reading the bill that i suggested many times. Now it is up to the states to put in place exchanges, which they have not done so far, so that people can pull together thus lowering cost.

On top of this, they must spend at least 80% of your premiums on actual healthcare, if not then those who hold the policy will receive a rebate every year. Once all is in place i believe this will work very well, and now the republicans if they honestly care about people ( as they claim) will have to work in a responsible manner, if not then it may not work.

But come Aug., once people start receiving their rebates, i suspect they will like it. Because when i did drive, i often wondered what becomes of the money i send in, but get in no accidents, i never got a percentage of that back. With the ACA among other things i will get some money back, if i stay healthy. Its a financial incentive for people to get healthy or stay healthy, because as you know money is what all Americans care about.

This is a good thing and I believe it will benefit many more people than just the poor. Maybe the insurance industry will focus on improving peoples health and the care they get again.

Everyone deserves affordable health care, This bill doesn't really do this. It should make it easier to obtain health insurance but it is far from perfect. But you have to start somewhere and this is a start. Amazing so many are against improvements to the health care system. What will they do when single payor universal coverage is proposed and the funding comes out of the military and prison complexes?
