Frankly, the most important thing about the first democratically elected president will be that he steps down when it's time. I think this is more likely with Morsi, as he is not popular within the MB (he is called "the spare" because the candidate the MB preferred was disqualified), he has no personal charisma, and he will be easier to ouster as he would not have as much support from the army as someone like Shafik. I think Shafik would try to stay forever, and could have the support to do it.
Expert stating that if shafik become president, this means the old regime has returned

They should also refrain from attempts to take away rights from any Egyptians -- women, non-Muslims -- in the name of religion. It is wrong and will cost Egypt not only tourism dollars, but also the great depth and breadth of Egyptian society. The best thing about Egypt is the Egyptians themselves. THe new president should let them think for themselves. (After all, it isn't really faith if it's imposed and not chosen.)
