Pearl Harbor lead to WW2 which led to huge boost to patriotism and industrial development. Kennedy and MLK assassinations were horrible, but they became "martyrs" for their causes, and helped impact society greatly after death. Obama's election showed a huge increase in voter turnout, and so far his presidency has not been bad (hasnt been to good either), 1929 Stock Market Crash did lead to an increase in Keynesian economics being practiced around the world which led to great economic security in many nations except America who fears government wants to kill their children.
9/11 however divided the nation, led to the Patriot Act, created a prolonged War which added more debt to our country then anything Obama has done, and also gave politicians and talking heads more attention for referring to it constantly. Yeah, i would say worse day ever.
