Obama has made a deal with the Saudi's to increase their oil output until after the November elections. All the othere OPEC nations are pissed at them. But wait until after the election in November, and if Obama wins, you will see the prices climb to over $4.00 gallon, almost instantaniously. Then watch them creep to $5 and $6 dollare a gallon.
Our dear President is about to give us the shaft again. And then watch what happens to Electricity prices, as he selectively closes down Coal fired power plants.
Taxmagaddon on 1 January, and increased energy prices on inaugration day will cause this recession to plunge into a deep depression.

You know, I said this would happen on an earlier poll back in April, and knew it would happen. When people say that BO has nothing to do with the price of gas, they are naive. Have seen this sort of manipulation many times.

We should have never begun buying fuel from our enemies, and selling ours right back to other enemies to begin with. But yeah, very "convenient" for S0et0r0. Even if we did start using 100% domestic oil (and we are sitting on top of more fossil fuels than the entire Middle East), the price differences won't go down by much. The pig oil companies know we're too stupid to pay it no matter what the cost without serious and Nation-wide backlash at these still outrageous prices. Baaaaah Baaaaah...

Name one DOMESTIC product that has DECREASED in price, less than imports. Just one.

Sure, that's what they would like for everyone to believe. I didn't buy into "supply and demand" in grade school, I'm not about to start buying into it now. Everything is more expensive than it used to be and NONE of the prices on ANYTHING have eased up, not in my entire life even before this global financial crisis. Not even a pack of freaking bubble-gum, domestic or imported. Nothing.

And actually, the hard drive shortage that resulted in May of last year can attest to this. The price on hard drives rose astronomically and they still have not come back down to their former price. Explain if you can. But as for me, I know that resellers are making a KILLING. I could have sold my 2TB external for about $400 at the height of this crisis - it cost me $137 in early 2011. And the prices aren't going to go back to that on these drives. Because they can charge whatever they want and we're not going to protest it.

Alright, deflect the issue. That's fine. But it is for the every reason that gasoline is such a commodity that they get away with inflating prices, no matter the reason. Just before I was born, the price of a gallon of gas was roughly 88 cents a gallon. And it's NEVER gone back down. And it NEVER will. I doubt that we will EVER see it go down to even $2 again. I'll add another NEVER for good measure.

The funny thing about toilet paper is that there is always demand, and fortunately a good supply.

What would happen to the price of toilet paper if dear leader decided to shut down toilet paper factories?

The real reasons the Saudis have increased production may be something different. Next month a whole bunch of UN / EU Sanctions against Iran will take effect one of which is to quit buying their oil. Although Iran really doesnt put that much oil into the world market they put enough to affect the price. I have watched the Saudis and OPEC pull this before. Increase production in anticipation of an event that will affect the world market. The early increase may have more to do with being sure they can cover the demand once sanctions take effect. Once they do, as usual the Saudis and OPEC will jack the price up as they have in the past.

OPEC and the Saudis have been manipulating the oil markets for years and just about always follow up increased production with price gouging........It's going to be an interesting summer and fall to say the least.

What would you have said if the republicans won and they brought the gas price down the way they said they could? Do you have a crystal ball that tells you what Obama your president is doing? Try to look at what the republicans are trying to do. Because when you wake up and if the republicans do win you will see what they are truly wanting to do.

The Iran situation has settled down. It was causing severe insecurity and unrest on the rest of the world. Now that things have calmed down and the U.N. has place great preasure on that Crazy Iran president, he has given in to the inspections of nuclear material and plants. Sir, I do read. For you to suggest that President Obama has made a deal with the Saudi's is an iresponsible claim and not to mention a lie. Where were you when Bush did not do anything about Osama Bin Laden because the Bush family has been in business with the Bin Laden family for almost 30 years? By your standards of judging, maybe the republicans are using Bush Jr. to raise gas prices to work against Obama's re-election? Why not dude? Bush and the Saudi's have been in the oil business for decades.
Read! Take the blinders off! OH! Take your foot out of your mouth too.
