Noah's Ark Story Unbelievable?

Yes I do understand what those words mean.
You can call a dog a chicken all day long and get the rest of the world to agree with you but at the end of the day - the so-called chicken is still a dog.

He tells me in a still small voice the truth of the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

Although;
I know through personal revelation and common sense that the Scriptures are not perfect.
That they have been handed down by man through Gods guidance, but I do know that even though God will direct man. man does not always follow the direction God gives him.

It is possible that much of the creation story and story of the Ark may be allegory but that is not the feeling I get about it.
If the Lords prophet tells me different, or I learn different, I will go with what I have now concerning what is recorded in the various Semitic books concerning Creation and the later story of the Ark.

Not a straw-man. The Creation Museum teaches that dinosaurs (including the T-Rex) lived in harmony with Adam and Eve and were on Noah's Ark.

Like most of it I can only surmise.
I do not know that and neither can you that there were even any dinosaurs left at the time of Noah.
Might have been but I would doubt very seriously that they lived in harmony with mankind.

Taking one of these "believers" in creation and such tales as the flood into the sunlight of reason is like taking a vampire to the roof to watch the sun come up.
I sometimes hesitate to tell them about the sunlight as most are children and need to admire and love those whom they trust, even the Sunday School Teacher.

About 4000 years ago.
I would say that most if not all the large lizards were long gone.

This is very weird but fun to think about. Kind of like Pooh Bear and the 100 Acre Woods.
I like that story as well. but T Rex was not if in existence at the time of Noah, not a friend of mankind.

I never belived the deluge covered the whole planet,just the Mediteranean & Persian Gulf basins.

But, that's not what the Bible says. It clearly reads as if it were a global flood. There's no way around it. In fact, the flood is said to have covered the highest point on earth.

If you ask me, it's just folklore. I mean, why would a perfect God through all that trouble? Why not just kill all the evil people with a plague like he allegedly killed all the first forn of Egypt?

Who knows? No one ever said it makes sense. After all, I'm a deist and not a Christian or a Jew.
