Yes I do understand what those words mean. You can call a dog a chicken all day long and get the rest of the world to agree with you but at the end of the day - the so-called chicken is still a dog. Yes, I know there is an argument against this idea. And that argument as well fits in with your religion.
You are repeating yourself in the above note but that is OK. Still there are not that many of the prime members of each group of families in each species.
Evolution is possible I suppose but still I would have to have faith to believe. Sense I would have to have faith to believe in either I believe I choose the Semitic Scriptures. The same obstacles that existed with the ark model is still there in the evolutionary. Much incest, which I do not see as a problem in the early pairs. Sooooooo, what ever.
"Evolution is not a belief. Evolution is a FACT." FALSE. You were not there. You cannot know. Neither can I. We both have our religions. You have chosen yours, I have chosen mine. Yes I knew the above and at the time I wrote it down I paused but went ahead with it anyway. Just never gave it enough time in my life to develop the faith in it you have. Thanks for the exchange.
I have the Holy Ghost. He tells me in a still small voice the truth of the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
Although; I know through personal revelation and common sense that the Scriptures are not perfect. That they have been handed down by man through Gods guidance, but I do know that even though God will direct man. man does not always follow the direction God gives him.
Yet we are promised a comforter (the Holy Ghost) who will reveal truth to lead us closer to God. It is possible that much of the creation story and story of the Ark may be allegory but that is not the feeling I get about it. If the Lords prophet tells me different, or I learn different, I will go with what I have now concerning what is recorded in the various Semitic books concerning Creation and the later story of the Ark.
Of course. Since the Masoretic text is a fictional text as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls, all the characters have to be fictional as well.
"actually you don't. There is no way you could. You cannot "have" something that you cannot touch, feel, or perceive. If it is immaterial and intangible and non-corporeal and metaphysical, then you CAN'T "have" it " Again. Another assumption. You have it on "faith" that I cannot "have" the Holy Ghost as a constant companion. You as well as I try to speak on things we have no understanding. Me of your religion, and you of mine.
Yes, but I use the more commonly used verb used in every day life. It can be a bit confusing to those just learning English but we are comfortable with it. "Come on over. We would LOVE to have you for dinner".:-) Kinda scarey huh?
I'm so glad you came to the rescue of this story. You see, I was there, I was on the Ark and ever since people have been laughing at me when I told the story. Now, I have you to help me. Maybe I could come to your church and tell my personal experiences? Write to me and let me know if this is possible. My expenses and fees are pretty modest for such personal testimony to the powers of "God".
Yes, we need more witlesnesses . Three would work. Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
So now we need two more. I will get back to you soon as I find the other two.
Speaking of fairy tails; This is a fictional straw man as well.
I think some on both sides are guilty of this type of make believe arguments. People read this kind of thing and even a diehard believer like me laughs at the stupidity of the supposed account.
Like most of it I can only surmise. I do not know that and neither can you that there were even any dinosaurs left at the time of Noah. Might have been but I would doubt very seriously that they lived in harmony with mankind.
Taking one of these "believers" in creation and such tales as the flood into the sunlight of reason is like taking a vampire to the roof to watch the sun come up. I sometimes hesitate to tell them about the sunlight as most are children and need to admire and love those whom they trust, even the Sunday School Teacher.
This is very weird but fun to think about. Kind of like Pooh Bear and the 100 Acre Woods. I like that story as well. but T Rex was not if in existence at the time of Noah, not a friend of mankind.
But, that's not what the Bible says. It clearly reads as if it were a global flood. There's no way around it. In fact, the flood is said to have covered the highest point on earth.
If you ask me, it's just folklore. I mean, why would a perfect God through all that trouble? Why not just kill all the evil people with a plague like he allegedly killed all the first forn of Egypt?
The Bible gives details and Someday it could be discovered if we had not found diasaurs bones no one would of believed in them either Only if you have no faith is it unbelivable

Thanks for the advice.

Even today this is true.

About 4000 years ago.
I would say that most if not all the large lizards were long gone.
Proberbly.;-)
