Not just unbelievable but impossible. And embarrassing when someone tries to explain it into existence.

And those details don't match the facts. Like you can't build a boat out of wood that big, even with today's tech.

    Wood only?
We have no reason to believe it was wood only.

They had brass and iron and tar as well as very sturdy wood.

Yes we do. The Bible says the whole ark was made out of wood. Some versions say cypress wood, and other versions say gopher wood. There's no mention of the ark being made out of anything else.

    So.
There is no mention of any of the other children of Adam and Eve either.
No mention of the Great Pyramid in Egypt which predates the flood,
There is no mention of a lot of things by the Bible.
They had metallurgy in those days tons of raw ore and the use of ceramics and tar products. It is very likely that they were used but wood being the main product in construction.

god told Noah to make it out of gopher wood.

Yeah and after they went for wood (they were to gopher wood) they used what ever they could to strengthen joints and enhance walls and make decks lighter etc.

They didn't have the tech to make metal of the size and quality needed back then. They could barely make a weapon out of it.

    How do you know that?
Because of a few fragments and articles found in old dirt?

By thinking that the further back you go the world is more and more ignorant?

I heard once from some guy who studdies such things back in the 1990's that fragments of Aluminum were found in "old dirt" that could only be made by high currant that is believed to be at least 3000 years old. The guy could have been full of hot gas but is it possible? Who knows!
It is not mentioned - but who does know everything?

Metal good enough to make a boat out of would still be around today.

Did not say the boat/barge was made of metal.
I said it could have been used in the boat as well as other strengthening materials.
Speculating about a situation of what could have been done.

    Metal around today?
    I doubt it.
Just look at the few years it takes for the destruction of some metals today.

Maybe the parts could be around such as those parts made of/with brass or copper or even gold.
If we ever find the ark those parts may be buried in the earth or ice. Who knows?

Neither are the other sons and daughters of Adam and Eve, the Great Pyramid or many other things of the time.
Just because we are not told everything does not mean many things were there.

    Still it would be there.
    It was not mentioned.
That does not mean it was not there.
They were smelting brass and iron in Noah's day and working with many useful things other then to gofer wood only.

The structure was of wood, but strengthened as the Lord showed Noah how to work the timbers.

It's ONLY believable if one succumbs to 'faith' ... the entire concept is illogical, as is the rest of the 'faith' fairy tale.

Of course it is. It is a mythical tale of redemption (and mass death, apparently) that predates the Bible... back when it wasn't taken literally.

On the one hand, it's pretty unbelievable. On the other hand, if you already believe in an all-powerful God, it isn't much of a jump to consider it might've happened. But whether it literally happened that way or not isn't really the point of the story.

Another example of a liberal progressive intent on destroying someone's belief. Another example of foul mouthed cruel and nasty humor conveying the message everyone else is wrong but me. Another entertainer.

There is a saying in the Bible that says, Little is much if God is in it." We as humans tend to always apply the same limitations on God that we have. It just doesn't work that way, if it did, then God would be just the same as us, very disappointing to say the least if indeed he was.

They say only about 35,000 animals to cover the major "types" of land dwelling animals and most insects counted in this number and some that are not could have survived outside the ark on it;s eggs and in their earlier stages of development. Many were frozen in the ice and freed later. There are just too many possibilities to dismiss the account out of hand.
