interesting how people DONT think.

All of those gas stations sitting Idle up in new jersey and ny.

Why??? the power is out..

Well duh.. there are generators available for rent.. and this is where the government can step up .. along with the National Guards

Bring in generators and attach them to the power leads at the fuel stations..

Now what kind of STUPID DUH thinking are we looking at.. and gee they dont have to ship in fuel to run the generators..

still not to late.. but dang... till they get the power on the fuel sits in the ground

In fact, why don't those fill-up stations have standby generators that can run on their own product? Or on piped-in gas, Diesel, etc.?

At least the real Oregonians like me know that filberts taste similar to hazelnuts but they are bigger.......hazelnut are from Turkey and are smaller.
I hope that in the next govenors election in 2014 we get rid of our hasbeen doctor who called us ungovernable.

Really!!!
It did not start raining until October 12th and then only 6 inches. By end of month.
Average rain here is only 4 feet per year, so that's not too bad.

2/3 of the stations have fuel.. just no way to turn the pumps

Every station has emergency shut offs for the power to the pumps.. how big a deal would it be to have a transfer switch required so back up power mobile gen set could be pulled up and turned on.. ... does it matter if it is a gen set rented or supplied by the government?? No not really..

This is why in Florida most gas stations have back up generators. But you are right, where is the Administration on this. They could have the military bring in tons of temporary generators for the gas stations. Afterall they are bringing them into NYC for the Marathon. Not a brain in the entire bunch.

They are taking their good old time in order to impress upon the new slave culture how dependent that they are upon their government masters. If a gas station owner brought in a generator, chances are that the city electrical inspector would shut him down.

Does'nt make the gas station guys look to bright but it is very possible that the fuel companies are doing this on purpose to drive up the cost of fuel!

This should drive gas prices down across the nation for a short time since the demand is high but there's no electricity to pump the gas. Hey the Union linemen are on the job and those generators are non union so you'll have to wait until the union decides you can have some gas
