There is no way that a Mosque should be built at ground zero. It is being funded by the Muslim Brotherhood who assassinated Anwar Sadat, among other terroristic acts. And also, it is like spitting on the graves of those who died and suffered there. There are so many Mosques in NYC. This is NOT a religious freedom issue at all, as so many claim. They are intending to build a monument to conquest. It should not be allowed. If they really cared about conciliatory gestures, they would move it away from Ground Zero to show that they have some sympathy for those who lost their lives there.

I say we start building churchs in the Middle East...Oh wait...we'd be beheaded for blasphemy!

Note, Bloomburg wouldn't help the historic Greek Church to begin to rebuild (it was destroyed on 9-11) but that Mosque is much more important. As my family is of Greek origin we have been contributing to St. Nicholas to help them re-build since 9-12-2001.
