The film studio that produced "The Dark Knight Rises" has donated more than $2 million to help pay for the medical bills to ease the suffering of the Colorado shooting victims. As the film is likely to make hundred of millions of dollars, do you think the studio should pick up the tab on all the medical costs or have they been generous enough?

No but if they did, it would be the most awesome PR campaign in movie history.

Even right-wingers like me would respect them more.

This could have been any film, I think too much emphasis has been placed on The Dark Knight Rises already, just leave it be.

I don't know if they should pick up the entire tab, but maybe they can pitch in some.

Some... ? They already gave two million dollars... isn't that some?

Maybe they can give a little more. That's certainly more than the NRA or all the gun lobbyists are giving I imagine.

Why should ANYONE have to give anything? There is only one (ONE) person responsible for what happened that night.

The NRA is NOT responsible for this tragedy. The guys shrink might be culpable, though. Why did he tell the cops about the booby traps? Why did he wait to be arrested? The event. Has the stink of a set-up. Think Jack Ruby!

The NRA is constitutionally supported and backed by the Bill of Rights. Therefore the NRA is not at fault based on your logic. According to you it is the fault of those who support the constitution and bill of rights. YOU ARE THEREFORE RESPONSIBLE!

TRY HOLDING THE TRIGGER PULLER RESPONSIBLE!

Film studios appeal most often to the worst motives and impulses of humanity, knowingly.
So, when they become so vile as to attract a deranged mind, why would the studio become responsible? Now, maybe Bruce Willis should return all the millions paid to him for demonstrating how to kill another person?

Actually, I would love to the one to convict a studio and make them pay a huge sum of restitution and three times that amount for punitive damages. But, it won't happen in our
    society of perversity and carnage.

Never say never .. . in a court battle, Morris Dees collected a building and, or worth probably, $7,000,000 from the Klan for a woman, for them killing her son. Some people win, when enough is enough.

I take it you are a juvenile using the family computer with permission of your parents? Like you, children and those with less than fully developed mental abilities can be led
to believe almost anything they see in the movies or on television is an "OK", a permission. The seriously mental cases can be triggered by scenes of violence and
mayhem, which HOllywood tries to excite.

You post something "61", which I disbelieve to be your age, given your juvenile comments. Perhaps an I.Q.?

All parties seem to have been quite generous in their pro-bono assistance to the shooting victims. No more should be "exacted" from them or otherwise confiscated.

The theaters however; need to take heed from this and view this tragedy as a harbinger of things to come and adjust.

Security Companies with armed guards are available, they need to hire them. Also, presently, theaters are "gun-free-zones" (except of course to criminals). These so called "gun-free-zones" need to cease to exist as that is where a shooter is most likely to appear.
