This is another ridiculous attempt to create a tempest in a teapot. This bill does not curtail free speech in any way shape or form. It allows protecting the president and other elected officials by restricting certain areas for security purposes. They do that now. It made things like jumping over the fence and running toward the White House a federal crime. It SHOULD be a federal crime. Most of us wouldn't even think of doing this. So, those who would should be suspect as to their motives. Now, take the knot out of your knickers and relax.

Yes, in my lifetime, we've had way too much political violence. We've had a president killed; one president shot; a presidential candidate shot and killed; one attempt on another president; Congresswoman Gabby Giffords shot. Unfortunately, this is the way this country is right now. And it's all over the country and on every level, not just in the political arena. For the first time in my life, I'm really, really afraid for my country. And the threat is from inside not a foreign source. I wish I could see a light at the end of the tunnel but I can't. Thanks for the rave.
