Not long ago this month June 2012 we started sending emails, faxes making calls to the Republicans in the House to hold Eric Holder and the D.O.J. in contempt now, June of 2012, or their seats would be re-considered. We let them know we are holding them accountable. This is one sample of what was used:

Yesterday the headlines started "Oversight Committee to call vote June 20th, 2012 on holding Holder and the D.O.J. in contempt of Congress" other headlines had Eric Holder whining for "A Deal" today I saw this one, first one to pop up on a search:

Now it's time to run the ball into the end zone, tell the GOP in the House, no deals for Eric no compromises for the holder of our justice hostage.

The Congressional Oversight Committee subpoenaed Eric
Holder and the D.O.J. regarding many different categories pertaining to
"Fast and Furious." Since October of 2011 this man has been holding justice hostage.

This same man failed to do his job as the top cop of our country and allowed the New Black Panthers to get away with voter intimidation.

We the people are asking our representatives "why is he in our pay roll?"

Now we are calling on you to do the right thing. To do what we have placed you in office to do. To do what we the people have charged you with, your job. It's his job or yours.

Make no deals with Eric Holder he has had over eight months to comply. Make no compromises with the people's wishes.

Hold Eric holder and the D.O.J. in contempt now, June 2012.

One would hope that with the president invoking an executive order about something he knew nothing about in the first place, that this would raise even the eyebrows of the Statue of Liberty lady! NO DEALS!

I spent several hours yesterday researching this, reading other cases when Exec.Privilege has been invoked. Not once has it been invoked at the behest of anyone but the POTUS.

In all cases the POTUS has to provide reasons for such request in all cases when it's been approved the POTUS has done so to protect national, security or diplomatic interest. In all cases the POTUS has had knowledge and been involved in the case. The list is reviewed by the SCOTUS and they make a decision whether to honor it or not.

Precisely, and that is why he has implicated himself headlong into being a part of it. I wonder if he realizes the SCOTUS will review this and make the decision on it? I'll be the "Constitutional lawyer" doesn't know that at all, but in the meantime, it has bought him time because the SC is ready to adjourn for the rest of the summer and won't be back till October, so this won't be decided until well after the election! !

Thanks for the heads up, Holder belongs in a jail cell. Charge him for perjury, conspiring with a racist organization, accessory to murder of a BP agent etc.
I like many other want his resignation now.

They have a vote for contempt in the House scheduled I think it's for the 20th June, this month. That's why we have to inundate them with emails, faxes and calls. To make sure they follow through we let them know they depend on us to keep their seat in the house

If congress does not start acting with some teeth, then Holder will never take them seriously or stop actions that disregard thier authority. The crowd in the WH think they are above the law, and answer to no one. If we do not start backing up words with action, then the effort is nothing but a farce

Next step, why is Congress asking Eric Holder to appoint a counsel to investigate the White House leaks to the NYT? We have to demand Congress to appoint an independent counsel to investigate the leaks in the White House I don't care if it's Joe the Plumber, it's better than a Barack donor friend of Eric Holder and the WHO.

Remember in "November 2009, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Julie Fernandes told the Voting Section of the DOJ that the Department has no interest in enforcing Section 8 of the Motor Voter law that requires that states ensure that no ineligible voters are on the rolls. There is a serious question about the focus of the DOJ on voting laws: why is the Justice Department aggressively pursuing ID instead of cleaning up voter rolls?"

I'm sure this will go no further than any of the other attempts to hold this government and this president responsible. There seems to be an impenetrable shield around these beasts and I think we need to find out exactly what and who IS pulling the strings.

We've allowed ourselves to be governed by a traitor to the US and the Constitution which he swore to uphold. Now that the time is getting closer to the election, I don't just want obama out of office; I want him out of this country!

I can understand being discouraged with holding Liberals to their actions, but unless we always give it our best shot, we definitely will not get anywhere.

The house is different today from what it was in 2009. I think they will hold him in contempt unless he produces everything that's been asked of him in the subpoenas.

With pressure from us, the Republicans in the house today will act. They know they won't hold their seat otherwise, they are still reminded of what happened to the RINO's in 2010
