And really out of touch with reality. The way he talks down to black people (as though they're ALL lazy, good-for-nothings who are all on welfare and cheating the system) is ridiculous. Yea, there's a big issue with poverty within the black community, but they aren't the only ones ever on welfare or ever the only ones cheating the welfare system. People from every race and walk of life (except, I suppose, the ones above the poverty line) go through it too. >:|
Wow! I never thought a post of mine would grab the attention of Batman! Dreams really do come true! ;)
Oops! I checked politico and what he said in context was, indeed, not as bad as the media depicted it (something about being a food stamp president verses a paycheck president). Thanks for the heads up! Still, he's said some other things recently that still sets me against him...but I guess I'll have to look at the full context of those, too. :P
P.S. I'm a big fan of your work, sir Batman sir! *bows*
Peace!
I will say this though, when he said obama is the food stamp president, he meant he made more people go on food stamps than any other president.
(I now have a pic of the Chesire Cat for President in my media. This poll inspired the idea.)
My pet peeve is why do We have to keep International waterways open and China never has to help? We make it safe for them to transport FREE of charge and wonder why they have all the money.
Much worse is a general meeting.
maybe its unimportant when you consider how f'd up the country is and the other 3 republicans and 1 democrat are sorely unprepared to correct it.
where's the trouble?
simple answer: no.
maybe there is an intersection, but it has nothing to do with his ability to lead.
Obama is, purportedly, a family man but a lousy leader. Gingrich has a leadership track record but was a lousy husband.
i'd choose Gingrich every day of the week and twice on sunday.
This is a man who has praised Franklin Delano Roosevelt as "the greatest President of the 20th century", criticized Ronald Reagan for not conforming to the foreign policy style of Harry Truman, and classified himself as a "Realpolitik Wilsonian" out of the "Theodore Roosevelt-LaFollette Progressive tradition." Could he be any clearer in the expressed intentions for his administration? And yet, because the carefully vetted and restricted cable media tells us to throw bouquets at him, we're really about to oblige them?
