59-year-old George Morales was found dead in the backseat of a van that was pulled over on the side of the Brooklyn-Queens expressway in New York. Morales' body remained in the van for over a month, where it accumulated four tickets.
George Morales was found only after the van was to be towed for emitting a foul odor.
Is parking enforcement comprised of a bunch of money-hungry bastards with no regard for the vehicle or whoever may be inside of it?

they dont care about the law they care about the money
Just a typical day in New York
unless they looked in the car and if he wasnt there someone would have said it was an invasion of privacy, so it wouldnt matter either way.
Where I used to live it was the same, and I remember one situation where a fat lady was writing me a ticket, and I came out and got in my car, and she told me I couldn't leave until she finished. I told her I was late for work and drove off. She was waving her arms in the air like a psycho and I never got a ticket for it :)
I understand the necessity of their jobs, but they take it to the extreme. I'm surprised more of them aren't assaulted.
I know that the parking officers do have a quota, shame on them, in this case!!!!
If these workers are given a quota they need to meet, it needs to be lowered, so the records can be kept up to date.
I'd also see if someone was maybe using this as a way to hide a murder. Who was driving, if the guy was in the BACK seat!?
