A self-identified Sodahead PROGRESSIVE was no doubt PROUD to post some results of a new poll, about which the claim was that it exposed "GOP propaganda."
Well in fact, the poll "exposes" that 0bama is badly out of touch with the American people on a number of issues that are critical to the upcoming election.
The poll in question was conducted by Suffolk University in Boston, MA. They surveyed 1,070 people, ALL of whom identified themselves as very likely or somewhat likely to vote in the November general election. 39% identified as Democrat, 34% as Republican, 22% as independent.
Here are some of the results:
In response to the question "Q27. Do you believe citizens should be required to show a photo ID before voting?", 73% answered YES, while only 24% answered NO.
To the question "Q41. How much influence do you think the President has on gas prices - a lot, some, a little, or none at all?", 52% disagreed with 0bama and believe the President has a lot or some influence on oil prices.
And 65% of the people said that "reducing the national debt will directly contribute to improving the economy" (Q32).
And in a real danger signal for 0bama, 78% of the people answered YES to "Q42. Should the United States explore options to increase its domestic oil production, even if that includes more offshore drilling?"

In virtually every recent poll we’ve seen, negative impressions of Mitt Romney outweigh positive ones. Take the new Fox News poll: 39 percent of registered voters rate Romney favorably, 49 percent unfavorably. President Obama has a 50 percent favorable and 47 percent unfavorable rating. In Pew’s new poll, 29 percent had a favorable opinion of Romney and 51 percent an unfavorable one. Those responses for Obama were 56 percent favorable, 41 percent unfavorable. Dated Mar. 16, 2012

Thanks for the post RJ
So accurate.
President Barack Obama holds a double-digit lead over former Gov. Mitt Romney in a head-to-head general election matchup, a new CNN/ORC national poll shows.
In a hypothetical race, 54% of Americans polled said they would vote for Obama while 43% said they preferred Romney.
In the same poll, Obama's approval rating inched above the 50% mark for the first time since May, with 51% of respondents saying they approve of the job he's doing and 45% disapproving.
Meanwhile, 48% of respondents said they have favorable view of the Democratic Party. The Republican Party's favorable rating dropped to 35%, with nearly six in 10 Americans saying they have an unfavorable view of the GOP.
But MAN WERE THEY WRONG!
78% want drilling, only 39% of those surveyed were Democrats.
RON PAUL 2012
78% want drilling.
