No matter what, we all must fight right down to the wire against the misleading lies and outright BS that the Republicans and their billionaires are throwing at the public. I've seen some evidence that Arizona, Yeah AZ, MAY be going to elect a Democrat to the US Senate.!!! And for certain at least 3 of the 8 districts and maybe 4 to the House!!

Arizona needs a good house cleaning to rid our state of a nest of wingnuts that have gained more power than they ever deserved. We have a virtual lunatic for a local Sheriff, a nutcase for a Governor, and, of all things, a man named Quayle (yes, Quayle, remember him?) for a Congressman. Then, we have a Senator who crashed three valuable Navy jets on his way to Washington and has remained a burden of one sort or another on the public since the very day he was born. Time to put all of them on the road to new careers, new places, and refresh the air.

I feel he will be totally toasted on election night but in the meantime I'm volunteering for the Obama campaign here. I just got polled this afternoon. Score another 'definite' vote for President Obama on the one from NC. I just hope we can keep this state blue.

Look forward to the first "debate", when Mitten has to answer for the absurdities and lies on which he has based his "campaign". Watch the color of his face when Obama recites the numerous "errors" that have made up Mitten's advertisements and rhetoric. Red face, blush, knowing that "God is watching" and every Mormon in the world will see him for what he is and be embarrassed that he represents their denomination. He will have no more credibility by November than does Joe Paterno.

More people are focused now and will be here on in. Every time he speaks or puts yet another surrogate up just becomes more revealing. Not everybody is a fool..

his problems in the swing states is due really to the fact that he has been unable to expand the electoral map. what makes this race so intersting is the fact that so little states
are in play. the only state that romney has succeded in puting in play is wisconsin.
that is due to his pick of ryan to the ticket. how much wisconsin is in play is open to debate.
what is not in debate is how he failed during the summer time to hit michigan and
PA in order to put those states in play.
it is still possible for romney to come back, but it will be very difficult. his pathways to 270
is very narrow. the president's pathway to 270 is much larger. this is looking like 2004 in reverse. in 2004 bush had many different ways to get to 270 and kerry had very few.
in fact one is very few. romneys path way is almost as narrow.

Being so unaware of reality, Romney didn't realize that the swing states have many more middle class workers than Billionaires. His appeal to those as wealthy as himself to give away $240,000 annual tax benefits just fell on deaf ears in Ohio, Michigan, Colorado, and Oklahoma. And, his mate, Ryan, leaves all adults with a stange feeling of "This can't be happening", and "Who is this mouthy kid"? Color them "gone" and the radical right zealots
will drown with them.

But, honestly, if Mitt Romney was to win, America will be in trouble home and abroad. Mitt Romney will rise up the jumbies in other countries and we will have more wars on our hand than what food to put on our table. Mitt Romney doesn't use diplomat when dealing with sensitive situation. And that could cause a lot of trouble. Nothing drain and bankrupt an economy like too many wars on hand.

Perhaps he plans to send a large number of "Mormon Missionaries" to these Mideastern countries to convert the Islamics to the "chosen faith"? All those nice young men, dressed in white shirts and ties, black pants, they will make a good impression and be polite, as always. In the meantime, he and friends can be packaging the Pentagon for sale and "outsourcing" the 133,000 civilian jobs that are available there. Look at the savings we can achieve, to pay for the tax cuts promised to Mitten's friends and neighbors.

Now, if the Islamics decide to just cut off the heads of the young "Infidels" and send their bodies to a local television station, that could provide the needed excuse to invade another little country and away we go in another wave of "prosperity" for America and our military-industrial complex. The boys? Oh well, they would be so happy up there in Heaven with all their ancestors and Jesus. Sounds like a win-win-win, doesn't it? The perfect Republican platform we haven't yet heard about.

I got you! And you could be right too, but thank God, it won't happen this time around.

The only things anyone remembers about the Republican Convention are Eastwood babbling to an empty chair and Lyin Ryan getting caught in a pack of lies. Obama got a bounce from the Dem Convention that has held. What has helped is Romney , with no foreign experience whatsoever, claiming the Middle East flare up would not have occurred on his watch because he has ' resolve' and ' moral clarity'. Sure thing, Willard... radical Islamist give a flying F about that.

Romney's campaign is based on the notion that because of what he did at Bain he understands the economy. It's easy to examine what his experience at Bain really taught him. After all, Bain wasn't in the business of creating jobs, it was in the business of making big money, One major reason for job disappearance is people like Romney out sourcing.

The Florida polls swing back and forth but Obama is pulling away in Ohio. Romney doesn't have a chance if he loses Florida and Ohio. Team Romney is very worried and has reason to be.

Romney is sinking like the Titanic. Judges are ruling against voter supression, and the Unions, 7 million MoveOn members, and Planned Parenthood are hard at work getting people registered in those suppression states. Democrats are more enthused since the Democrat's convention, and no Republican who has lost in a previous primary (like McCain, Paul, and now Romney) has become president in over 30 years. The GOP has alienated every voting bloc they need to win with their extremism and bigotry. The majority of the people hate extremism and being dictated to. They will vote for the president to prevent it.

First off never say he is toast until it is over. How many times have you seen a
football game and you shut it off because your team are behind with 20 seconds left
and the next day found out your team one.

What we are talking is faith in the people to keep Mitt Romney feet to the fire.

What's clear at this point is that Romney mishandled the Republican convention. Its not clear though if the current polls are just a DNC bounce and Obama will go back to the 1-2% lead he had for most of the year. I think things will be quite clear in 3 weeks when the polls after the first debate come out. That's the last preplanned event likely to change any significant number of minds. If the polls are the same then as they are now, I'll be ready to call Romney toast. Romney has about 20 days to fix things--not a lot of time, especially when you consider he's been running for President for 10 years.

Maybe he will make another trip to England next week, or to Egypt, gain some "foreign policy" experience.
