As a business owner, I can tell you first hand that the economy is NOT improving. The mood create by this administration does NOTHING to encourage business people to expand their busness or hire more people...in fact the lack of retail activity and the threat of much higher taxes and much higher medical insurance costs has caused business people to pull back and risk less...

The thing that "is" puzzling to me however, is that the number of unemployed goes up on almost every report that is posted, and the number of jobs created is never even close to the number that are laid off, and yet the unemployment number never seems to change. Why?

No, I'm not surprised, but it'll go down again. The economy isn't going to start recovering until after the election is over.

Not really after my husband came home 2 weeks ago and said the large, multi-national company he works for is cutting back on production until after the election. They aren't currently planning on doing any lay-offs like they did in 2009, but they will not replace those who retire or leave of their own accord.

No, I am not surprised because Corporations are sitting on TRILLIONS of Dollars and are not doing anything to help the Economy until the Election to give Romney a fighting chance that he is best for the Economy over President Obama.

That is the only way they can make the Electorate think that President Obama is doing a Bad Job.

GOP/TEA is Pulling out as much AMMUNITION as they can to Stop the President INCLUDING BUT not limited to the following:

    1. VOTER Suppression in all the Republican Dominated States. Suddenly Fraud is all over the Place.
    2. Romney-Ryan Constantly REMINDING their Crowds, that this President is either Outside the Mainstream, Un-American and he JUST DOES NOT UNDERSTAND AMERICANS. Newt had already labeled him a Nazi and a Socialist. Santorum said he wants to give ALL THE WHITE PEOPLE'S Tax Dollars to Black People, and everybody knows Black don't work at all.
    3. Now Romney has sent a message that he believes in BIRTHERISM. If you believe he misspoke or Joking, then I have a bridge to sell you.
    4. Billionaires and Karl Rove are POURING BILLIONS into the Romney Camp to OUTRIGHT BUY YOUR VOTE and the Government.

Is the Current Republican Congress DOING ANYTHING TO HELP THE ECONOMY, EXCEPT TO OBSTRUCT ANY AND EVERYTHING THEY CAN?

    Enough said.

I get to file this Monday..it is no surprise; sales and available monies are in short supply.
The local number one lender here has had a total of 700 + auto repo's the last three months..
Nothing surprises me at all anymore....I told my wife; we have to watch expenses; I want no food stamps or welfare....I will find work somewhere; If I am a janitor; or a cash register jockey; I will find work....
If it's 2 part time jobs; I will find work..I've just got to
