Oh yes, I just installed iOS 6 on my iPhone 4s and the maps app is different, wha wha wha there are no years old satelite photo views, but strange I can still enter an address or intersection and still get a map of the area as well as accurate directions how to get there...

Well let's see....Do I want a phone that has iMpas, which couldn't even tell me where the hell iWas or where iNeeded to go, vs an OS that can support a Maps system and app that's been the king of the hill since it came out?

Besides, Jelly Bean OS smokes IOS6....

Because I don't buy a phone for the maps. One can argue that a smartphone NEEDS maps, but how many people TRULY do so much travel outside their general stomping grounds often enough to throw a fuss over it? Besides Apple tends to make the necessary adjustments fairly quick, so don't expect the kinks to last too long. If I declined the iPhone 5 it's only be because the 4s is all the "phone" I'll ever truly need. I find it ironic that overuse of smartphones has actually made people dumber.

One thing people tend to forget is if they want google maps, THEY HAVE AN APP FOR IT?!? If you do like it USE THE APP!!!! How is that so difficult? I love my 5!

I have seen sample of Apple maps and they are at least a 10 year throw-back compared to Google maps.

Its still way behind on tech. Android has so much of a bigger selection and better specs. The only thing Apple did right were the Computers, and MAYBE I can't stress MAYBE enough the iPods.

true they did great on their computers and my 5 or 6 year old ipod nano is still in perfect condition. their phones have become kinda eh since leaps in android technology.

Well I will get it as a free upgrade, but yes, if anything this is better, google let apple use it's maps but not all of the features, apple has instead created its own maps where it can have all of the features that google didn't let them have.

I have the iPhone 3 (THREE) that is the first generation iPhone, slow as molasses on a cold day and still in the jar! I will go to the AT&T; store and tell them to give me one for free, we shall see what happens!

Apple comes out with a new phone and it cannot be connected with any of the chargers or add on's that have been sold for years. The jack connector is on the bottom.
Even if I had the money to waste on it, I would not buy it.
