Neighbor Spying on Neighbor in Obama's America~

angelbaby 2012/08/10 07:07:08
Obama's at it again -- asking neighbor to turn in neighbor in a manner reminiscent of Pavlik Morosov in the USSR (that's the Soviet Union for those born after the Berlin Wall was torn down by those hungry for freedom).

Legend has it that Pavlik Morosov turned in his parents to the Soviet authorities and was found murdered by family members who were later convicted.  A good part of the story is most likely fiction according to all present-day researched accounts, but this much is known:  he did exist and was killed and was turned into a Soviet Child-hero emblematic of the entire communist ethos.

The current thinking is that he was killed by kulaks in the town who were resisting collectivization.  Nevertheless, Pavlik became a propaganda tool -- literally the poster boy -- for allegiance to the Soviet apparat and generations of Soviet children idolized him and sought to follow in his path as members of the Young Pioneers with their red scarves and brown shirt-like devotion to communism, willing to turn in anyone, even the parents they loved.

Using Pavlik this way -- whether the story is real or fictional -- not only oriented Soviet boys and girls to revere the state as moral authority, but used them as an extension of the KGB -- to be the eyes, ears and nose of the KGB on the ground, accessing information about traitors who would normally be out of the state's reach whether in the dark corners of an overcrowded communal apartment or thousands of miles away in a small farming village.  By turning in one's parents or neighbors, another prong in the Soviet platform was achieved -- Soviet preemption of parental and church authority.

Obama has attempted to turn us against one another several times during his tenure as President and has just done so again.  His most recent iteration of Soviet style tactics is to ask people to crowdsource information they might have against potential VP choices for Romney so they can launch unfounded and nasty preemptive personal attacks.  Got any negative stories about Rob Portman?  With just a click, Obama asks Ohioans to "share what you think people need to know about Rob Portman" and has a text box for your story. I'm sure when asked the source of the stories, we'll get a Reid style answer.

Flashback to 2009 when, unable to track it all, the White House asked citizens to counter any disinformation about keeping one's health insurance and those nasty death panel rumors, by turning in anything fishy, again, with just a click:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

And in 2011, Obama asked folks to send information to #attackwatch and attackwatch.com regarding smears against him that they heard from their neighbors.  Touted as a "new way to track and respond to attacks against President Obama" this is and was nothing more than Soviet style tactics designed to undermine the community, pit neighbor against neighbor, family member against family member and give Obama access to enemies he couldn't reach on his own, making Nixon look like a Boy Scout.  New way or not, it's still the same wolf in sheep's clothing.

It would be funny if it weren't so frightening.

No more Mrs. Nice Guy.  It's time to call this what it is:  a Soviet style effort to control information by asking people to turn on each other.  Without the Soviet Union to keep us in check -- guarding against society's tendency towards totalitarianism -- we are slinking towards this Gemorrah with accelerating speed.  Conservatives have been acutely aware of this for a long time, but it's time for freedom loving Democrats and liberals to open their eyes, abandon the blind devotion to Obama, take off their red scarves and smell the stench of vodka -- difficult to detect, yes, but slowly rotting and poisoning the body politic anyway.

This doesn't really surprise me. I think that the gov has been trying to put us against each other since the 70'. I have always been told to believe half what you see and less than third of what you hear. This is something that I would like to pass along to you. If they make us do this, do it with caution.

Have you all seen how his buddy Henry Luis Gates is using Ancestry.com, a Mormon business venture, to track down decendants of slave owners, and slaves? What will they use that information for? To harrass them? Obama is the most anti-semitic President in History, and slavery is not against God's law, either in the Old, or New Testament. Obama says the U.S. is no longer Christian?

People and women in particular just went gaga for that good-lookin' black guy, he is SO into it!! Well, you got what you deserve. If you want a country like the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany-----we're headed in that direction. Libs and supporters are soooo upset Romney won't release more than the last two years of his tax return!!! How about Obama unlocking his background that he spent a million on getting it legally hidden?? At least I'd like to see his University years come to light. Wonder what he wrote about?? Why doesn't Romney ask for that??

I am not sure that would have made much difference. As crooked as that election was, I think there would have been more thugs planted and more dead people vote, pets, children. As much corruptness as went on in that election, I don't think we elected him. I think the FRAUD elected him.

Repeat Obama’s “success” with the auto industry with the rest of U.S. industries. Well. An Obama recipe for industrial “success”:
    1. Bankrupt the industry with union labor, government regulation, and bad management.
    2. Steal the bondholders’ ownership and make the government the owner of the industry, perhaps giving away part of it to a foreign competitor, you know, like giving Chrysler to Fiat.
    3. Shovel 100 billion dollars at the industry to save 60,000 domestic union jobs, but send the rest of the jobs and manufacturing overseas.
    4. Make products (like the Volt) that no one is willing to buy, even when subsidized to the tune of $100,000.00 of taxpayer payoffs per unit.
    5. Have the stock in the new company drop 42% during the next two years.
and repeat for each U.S. industry. Yeah, Obama, that should work REAL well,
    Communism has arrived !!!!!

Why do people allow themselves to blame this all on Obama? This police state's construction went on just as aggressively under the Bush administration, and many of its policies originated under him. At least recognize your freedom and liberty is under threat not just by this usurper, but by a system where you think you're changing the country each election when you're just handing the reins to the next despot. Romney would be no different, mark my words and let history be my witness that each so-called President for decades has done nothing but enlarge government, infringe on We the People's rights, and eat away at the integrity of the Constitution, regardless of the promises and the switching between Democrat and Republican.

I propose ending mental enslavement and voting for a third party candidate, preferably Libertarian. This system of corruption has been going on in cycles for decades, and people are manipulated every single time by the same methods, fear of 4 more years or promise of hope and change. The R and D are one party designed with two heads to give the illusion of choice, one only need look at the evidence of policy, growth of government, perpetual war, debt, etc. It's a sham and most are falling for it.

And that Libertarian would be same Party with THREE heads. No different. The PROBLEM lies with the people of the USA. They don't pay attention to who they put into office and we get what we got. Just like MIch put Pete Hoekstra up to run against Stabenow. He won't beat her. And Mich is one place we need to get Dems OUT of control.
Ron Paul is not a Leader. He may be a good person, but he is NOT a leader! He turned me off during the debates. And He CAN'T get elected. He couldn't even beat Gingrich in the Primaries, so how is he going to beat Obama?

I don't look for a candidate that "turns me on", but one of those available who will follow the Constitutional role of President if elected, and not run this country like he's the dictator or a corporate despot. There isn't a perfect candidate if it comes to personal agendas and opinions, so I stick to what is actually supposed to be taking place during an election, choosing the candidate who is most qualified and can be trusted to not attempt to seize power that doesn't belong to him. When choosing Congressmen I look at who will compare bills to what their authority is under the Constitution and vote against usurpations of power, and to fulfill their obligation to provide checks and balances on the other branches rather than handing their authority to the despot.

You're entitled to your opinion of his leadership, and I'm entitled to mine. I believe the RNC is trying to throw the election anyway, with the Romney/Ryan ticket, which may make those who would already vote Republican anyway happy, will do more to bring voters out to support Obama in my opinion. Most of those supporting Ron Paul won't vote for Romney or Obama, regardless of how long he is in the running. The default R and D voters may settle into their usual practice of voting for whoever the party candidate is with no regard for who they are, and of course they'll throw insults and accusations to those who won't do the same because they know they're irrelevant and really aren't the ones making the decision. The ones who are not bound by the chains of PARTY are the choosers, and if Republicans really wanted to win this they wouldn't have thrown out the conservative candidate. It's still a race though. Will there be enough zombie voters on the R side to win the numbers "game" against the zombie D voters, or will there be enough disillusioned from both to sweep both aside with a Libertarian win. Time will tell, but right now it's not looking good for the GOP, and it's their own fault for isolating the free people voting and even pushing some of those to vote for Obama.

This is TOO important of an election for IDEALS. Mr Romney can beat Obama. Mr Paul CAN'T! It's as simple as that. They don't WANT Ron Paul, or they would have elected him in the Primaries. Can't you get that?

"This is TOO important of an election for IDEALS."- The rallying cry for the murderers of freedom and liberty, the killers of our Republic. Every election has been the same thing, "put your ideals aside" this is too important, we have to get this guy out, or we need to get this guy in because he'll fix everything, eventhough there's no reason to believe that to be true, have FAITH ! I gave up on being one of those who compromise their own conscience and beliefs for the group-think and have no intention of going back. If all of you people who are in the herd had stopped and voted on ideals rather than propaganda, this self-destruction of our nation would have stopped long ago. Of course, not to mention the undeclared and thus unconstitutional wars and operations under G.W.B. Even when it came to stopping the war with Afghanistan before it started by only offering evidence to the government there to meet extradition requirements, Bush responded, "There's no need to discuss innocence or guilt. We know he's guilty.", which wasn't true, as bin Laden was never even charged with 9/11. The war was prepared and ready to initiate before 9/11 even happened. Bush was a liar and a crook and caused the deaths of men and women who swore to defend, not go off fighting in unnecessary wars of aggression.
