It is rather ominous looking to say the least.

In a shameful display of disregard for the Constitution and for liberty, on Friday, the House of Representatives voted to perpetuate the president’s power to indefinitely detain American citizens.
By a vote of 238-182, members of Congress rejected the amendment offered by Representatives Adam Smith (D-Washington) and Justin Amash (R-Michigan) that would have repealed the indefinite detention provision passed overwhelmingly last year as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2012.
The Fiscal Year 2013 NDAA retains the indefinite detention provisions, as well as the section permitting prisoners to be transferred from civilian jurisdiction to the custody of the military.
“The frightening thing here is that the government is claiming the power
under the Afghanistan authorization for use of military force as a justification for entering American homes to grab people, indefinitely detain them and not give them a charge or trial,” Representative Amash said during House debate.
The real crime is that Allen West and so many of his fellow Republican lawmakers have betrayed not only the Constitution, but their oaths of office to “preserve, protect, and defend” it from all enemies.
It is apropos to recall the timely words written by James Madison in a letter writing to Thomas Jefferson in 1798:
“It is a universal truth that the loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or pretended, from abroad.”
Each of these freedom-phobes invoked the specter of terror (in one way or another: “terrorist,” “al-Qaeda,” “enemies”) to justify the abolition of constitutionally guaranteed civil liberties.

What is really here? Is it the Act itself, is it "Title X, Subtitle D" the counter terrorism clause, or is it that the BLACK MAN in the White House has the authority to use it in times of a National Emergency?
Thank you.
Mitt Romney must suffer from a lack of imagination. And a dangerous one.
Obama, I am sure, wants to detain anyone who gets in his way.
I would vote for Romney, Paul, or Donald Duck if they ran against Obama. The only goal I can help accomplish at this time is removing Obama from office. I will vote for whoever has the best chance to make that happen. I'm confident that whoever next lives in the White House will be a step up from the anti-American crap we have be subject to over the past 3 years.
More individual accountability
No more unconstitutional mandates or acts of war
More power back to the states where they belong
Fiscal conservatism
Founding principles
Now if you don't know how any of the above will effect the current leadership I would say you don't know much of what's going on.
Reality: He has NO chance so the ideas are nice but your vote is wasted , it's your right to cast a protest vote but that's all it will end up being
You do know he admitted he couldn't balance the budget in MA
You do know he is for big business and more wars
Now tell me where he differs on social issue other than denying others their personal individual liberties?
I admit they don't disagee on everything but I trust Romney will do a far superior job than Obama.
Fact is Romney is a capitalist and Obama is a died in the woods socialist.
I'm voting Romney
Romney will do a good job.
Last night Paul only recieved 13% of the vote in Texas, Romney won by a huge margin, it's consistant with the national support.
I like Ron Paul but How can you not see your vote is a protest vote?---he can't win
Romney always seems to win by a huge margin ... until the delegates are counted. He wised up in AZ where his people actually removed the ballot box to "count" the votes to only return with Romney winning although there were more Ron Paul supporters there than Romney fans.
Nope ... I'm not a sheeple and it is not a protest vote its a vote for the better man.
I like Romney but I have an open mind---Who should I vote for?
Obama has set up his group of thieves---they are all in place to control your life. give this idiot 4 more years and say goodbye to freedom
Obama, Romney no difference in my eyes ... no principles ... no clear direction other than the status quo and the further take-down of the constitution ... say good-by to freedom either way.
Gimme a break. QUIT blaming the DEMOCRATS for EVERYTHING! The Republicans ARE NOT a buncha' little angels!
