As we approach one of the driest NBA drafts in nearly a decade, it's time for the NBA to sort out who gets to pick first.
Bleacher Report suggests that LeBron James' departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers is reason enough to give them first pick.
Unfortunately for Cleveland, the draft is picked by lottery, so there's no way the NBA can simply offer them the first draft pick.
The lottery will take place on May 17, and Cleveland currently has the second highest likelihood of getting first pick with a 20 percent chance, next to Minnesota, who has a 25 percent chance.

While there are no fixes or guarantees that will give the Cavs their pick of the litter, the NBA needs to acknowledge that the city of Cleveland has endured more hardship in the past year than anyone ... The reality is that [James] did leave and it hurt the Cavaliers. They went from one of the richest, and most valuable, franchises, to one of the least valuable, and most inept franchises.
