Pelosi, who is among those who have been calling on Romney to release more of his tax returns, turned the tables on the press when asked if she should do the same.
"Some people think the same standard should be held of the ownership of the news media in the country ... What do you think about that?" she asked.
Pelosi said at issue is the fact that it is "custom" for presidential candidates to release their tax returns. "Why wouldn't you? It's a relationship between the person running for president and the American people," she said. "If you release them, you tell a story. If you don't release them, you leave it up to the imagination of anybody who wants to talk about it."

Sounds as though Pelosi herself also needs to be investigated.
Presumption of innocence becomes more and more difficult under the administration of NON transparent peoples/politicians eh? But that would be such peoples own "design" .. do as I say .. not as I do, policys .....

the result of rationalization ie: avoidance of origin intent of law .............
to me the blog is not created to be irrelevant ...but to illuminate to all of us that our "leadership" is misleading us all no matter what political party any of us are registered within to vote.
This IS a BI-partisan problem.
(amongst the many other problems she has)
would be NICE to see her last 12 years of Tax Returns ..
I'd like to know if she claimed as income all that fancy food, booze and personal trips as part of her INCOME during those years ... (which is what she should have done anyways) ..
(especially since she charged all those eats/booze and trips for her sponsors, family, etc -- to the Department of Defense instead)
OH, yes, let's also see why HER personal Fortunes (and her Family members' wealth) also increased so mightily too over the past few years .. (Given that Citizens .. including myself -- have seen the economic impact of our personal savings decrease so mightily at the same time).
Work for the poor!
The list of PACS devoted to donating huge funds to her are quite interesting and none of them about poor people that I ever noticed.
