Names of "republican" senators planning on voting against you... again. LOST is a knife in our back.

WannaBeRSC the Contrarian SOB 2012/06/30 07:57:39
Why do you all keep voting for these traitors?

20 Republican Senators Are REFUSING To Oppose A United Nations Global Taxation Scheme That Was Intentionally Designed To Hand Over Our Sovereignty To The Third World.

Yes, we're talking about the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST)... a United Nations scheme that would impose a "global tax" on us and – as former-President Ronald Reagan said – force us to hand over "sovereign control of two-thirds of the Earth's surface over to the Third World."

Over our dead bodies... LOST must be stopped, and thankfully, Senator Jim DeMint agrees.

As a matter of fact, DeMint is championing the fight against LOST, and has already lined up the signatures of 27 Republican Senators who have pledged to oppose LOST; and since treaties must pass the Senate by a two-thirds vote, that means we are just SEVEN VOTES SHY of the 34 we need to doom the passage of this United Nations global taxation scheme.

But DeMint needs our help, because it's not going to be easy.

Just days ago, The Hill reported that Senator John Kerry is "bringing some big guns in" to persuade these 20 Republican hold-outs to stab you in the back before you're any the wiser.

I emailed McConnell last year and told him I would never vote for him again. A RINO if there ever was one.

You think he is worried? Heck, Orrin Hatch got re-selected. I don't know how we get those guys out. The 17th amendment has been the downfall of the senate. With any luck, we'll replace Hutchison with somebody who really is an anti-statist and not our Lt Governor who had a plurality but didn't win outright in the primaries.

I know he isn't. He worked against Rand Paul to fill Bunning's seat and as far as I can remember did not endorse him after winning the primary.

The only one that surprises me is Murkowski. The rest have always been full time rats, as far as I know. I told Scott Brown to gas up the truck and go home ages ago. Wtf? Can't he afford the gas? Everyone send him a silver dime for a gallon. Since we pay their way either way, I'd rather pay them to gtfo...

Yep, lived in Memphis during the 06' mid-terms. That was where I moved after Katrina. Stayed there from late 05' to right after the Presidential election in 08'. I've only lived here in TX for almost 2 years.

So are you a Louisiana gal? I grew up in New Orleans, but my family and I had all been gone before Katrina. My parents moved to the Florida panhandle where they got a number of Hurricanes from Opal to Ivan to Dennis and more.

Yes, I grew up in NOLA. What part of New Orleans, if you don't mind me asking? I lived all over the place Uptown, by the Lake, Metairie, Kenner, the West Bank, Chalmette.

I remember Ivan, and Isadore too.

Wow - I used to cross the ferry into Algiers point every day going to work. Small world. I didn't go to college there, but both of my Grandpas went to LSU.

Indeed! I've been on the ferry more times than I can count. When I was growing up, there was only one bridge not counting the Huey P Long bridge. My dad practiced veterinary medicine there. I am such a huge Saints fan because we moved there in 67 when the the Saints were just starting. My lil bro and I used to get season tix in the student section in the end zone for our birthday every year. That was in old Tulane stadium before they built the Superdome.

Wow, my Grandpa worked for LM Berry out in Metairie for decades. He retired from there. Yes - he's told me many times about the Saints games* at Tulane Stadium - and the paper bags. lol That was way before my time.

I know you must be a Saints fan if you've followed them that long!
