Democrats are by far sleazier. Republican errors, whether real ore alleged,usually make the front pages of the left wing press. Only the most egregious misconduct by democrats is even mentioned. Then it is often defended by claiming that Republicans do worse.

Dems are, they just keep their yaps shut about sexual immorality so they avoid the whole appearance of hypocrites and the news cameras, unlike all too many Rs, who bang the gavel of morality, then get busted for an affair or disgusting bit men’s room action.

There are scumbags on both sides. Neither represent the heart of the party they belong to.

They attract each other like magnets!

While no one is perfect and every group is going to have their low-lifes, the democrats not only approve immoral and unethical behavior, they encourage it. Republicans screw up, but at least they, for the most part, try to behave properly and encourage responsible behavior.

That's not to say that there aren't "sleazy" Republicans out there; all politicians, left, right, or center, have the potential to be vermin.

Sadly, there's more than enough to go around. There is not a political 'fix' for this, however...the dems by and large seem to openly endorse and engage in questionable and standardless behavior, having contempt and disdain for any one advocating moral high ground.. Repubs? They SAY that morals are great and Godliness is a worthy pursuit...but most in politics are weak as water and few find the strength to practice what they preach. So...we wind up with a lot of scum and a lot of hypocrisy in the capitol of a once great country. My choice? I would far rather vote for those who ATTEMPT moral pursuits and pray for their weakness than succumb to the open shame, degradation and filth of politically correct ideology. This country is worth saving. We need to RESTORE some of the VALUES that made this nation a beacon of hope and freedom that we ALL would be proud of.

I have to vote to comment, but I have to admit it is a real toss up. After what I have seen over the last several years I think they teach sleaze in the intro to running for office.
It is divided into classes on alluding to a situation as if you know are facts to back you up.
How to get a young lady to seal a dress in plastic instead of having it cleaned to remove the cum stain for three years.
How to get a young lady to make unfounded charges against a Candidate a seat on the United States Supreme Court, but not get charged with perjury.
As you cab see, there is plenty of sleaze to go around. It is call human nature, when someone has no moral compass this is what you get. Elected Officials have to check their moral compass at the first swearing in ceremony and never get it back.
I know that sounds cynical, but I am 64 and in that time I have seen underage pages, male and female sexually abused by Senators and Congressmen. Congressman accepting bribes in the FBI ABSCAM sting in 80 and 81. A President who expanded the Vietnam War on false information that he KNEW was false or unsubstantiated at the time. So if I sound cynical it is with good reason.

Remember: "When you're up to your neck in alligators, sometimes you forget that your mission is to drain the swamp." That is our mission.
