“My first choice had always been my father. I campaigned for him when I was 11-years-old. He’s still my first pick, but now that the nominating process is over, tonight I’m happy to announce that I’m going to be supporting Gov. Mitt Romney.”

That pretty much confirms Ron Paul will not run as 3rd party. I'm a Paul supporter but it's more important to defeat Obama than vote for my desired candidate.

There is a lot of wrong about every man in political office. What makes you weak is not admitting when "your guy" is wrong. It invalidates everything you say about the other guy.

Old saw, two wrongs don't make a right. Two communists are twice as bad as one.

If your RINO Party manages to kick Paul under the bus, the good side of that coin is Gary Johnson.

He can't win and you know it. You refuse to admit any failing of Ron Paul whatsoever. All you're doing is deflecting.

Who is the one and only candidate who stands up for the Constitution? Tossing one's Principles for expediency has taken America to the brink of abyss... We stop it now or never. More of the same will never do one thing for Liberty.

The republican party has been taken over by the RINO's which I define for you as those in the grey middle without either principle or cause. I can see that you cannot and will not acknowledge the seriousness of the predicament.

But you will do one thing, and I will do the other. Things are so bad anyway that it's doubtful anything can fix this mess.

Win or Lose there will be another Republican nominating contest in 2016. And I hope more people here the voice of liberty.

This move although most of the liberty movement dislikes, is actually good for the liberty movement, because it defeats the perception set on us by the constantly compromising Republicans, that we can never compromise.

    "we can never compromise."
Compromising on our principles and giving in an inch every 4 years is how we got to where we are, and most Ron Paul supporters supported him because he has never compromised. To make it worse, Paul compromised on EVERY stance he ever stood for and represented.

Rand, unless he completely sells out and becomes a political stooge, is now politically dead. His base is gone. He only has a few sheeple following him now, and some neocons.

We all have to stand for something, and I'm proud of all proud of all Rand Paul supporters that are not sheep, that thought for themselves, and stood their ground on their principles regardless of who sells out. They are real Americans.

Now that Rand Paul has shown that he cannot stand his ground, he has lost everything that set him apart from the rest.

The liberty movement will never win the presidency if we turn our backs on people who have done us good, and also calling people "sheeple".

The liberty movement will get no where if we follow Benedict Arnold to the slaughter house.

If I followed everyone that did good blindly, regardless of their real intentions or if they sell out, then I'd be one foolish man. Once you turn yourself to the darkside, all good you've done means nothing. All that matters is the crimes you will be committing in the present and future.

I'm not telling you to vote Republican, I'm just telling you don't turn your back on Rand, of everyone in the senate Rand has the best voting record to our standards. Now if his voting record changes, than yes, turn your back on him.

The establishment wants us divided. The establishments wants to separate the libertarians that hate the Republican party from the libertarians that think the Republican party is our best chance at bringing liberty back. As long as we are divided, the growth of government will continue.

My question to you is, even if he continues fight for the same things we believe in like reigning in the fed, bringing the troops home, balanced budgets, and less regulations, will you not support him because of this one situation.

The seems very selfish to me, not only that but if we hold our liberty candidates to so high a standard, no one will ever pass it and we fight amongst ourselves on who should carry the torch next.

Paul's not running 3rd party. If you write-in for him, you're effectively saying you'd rather have Obama in the White House than Romney. Have you seen these yet?
