We all know now the full, bloody details. Muslim mobs in Cairo and Benghazi attacked US diplomatic installations. One ambassador and three of his employees are dead. But the stunning part is what the other ambassador did: apologized to the mob.

Here is the link to the press release from the US Embassy in Cairo. There is no mistake. Nor is there any excuse.

And all this, over a movie about Islam. Or is it? Could it be because word came that we have killed yet another senior officer of Al-Qaeda?

The linked article has embeds of the movie, an Egyptian TV segment about it, and two clips from the storming of the embassy in Cairo.

Now I ask you: what should we do next?

At 9am EST I logged on to my local news website for the local "What's in the News" today. It had pictures of the ambassador. One of him with the United States flag behind him, obviously the "official pic". The others (21 of them total) were of the fire and burning and the criminals doing it, and two of his dead body being dragged and photographed by the vicious killers. Exactly one hour later, the two pics of his dead body were deleted. Did I like looking at it? No...but it should stay so that everyone can see what monsters we are dealing with. I'm sure they had complaints from Liberals, the same ones that don't like to see replays of the towers falling. Sorry...just venting here.

First of all, just like Mitt Romney, you don't have the facts straight. The US Ambassador to Libya was not killed by a mob, rather by well armed terrorists in a coordinated attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, and on the 11th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. In Libya, authorities have already arrested four individuals that were connected with the attacks, and the investigation continues.

What's on my mind is that 4 more Americans are dead. Our Embassies are under attack. And all the LAMESTREAM Media can do is attack Romney. It's disgusting. The release was sent before the death of the Ambassador. He knew the movie would stir up trouble and was trying to avoid it. Apparently, it didn't work. If anyone was up on current news you would know that there are Libyan people holding signs saying that the actions of the mob and those who attacked the Embassy do reflect the feelings of Most Libyan people.

Let The Obama administration handle this. God knows we don't need a dullard like Willard getting involved. He jumped the gun by making a stupid statement before knowing all of the facts. It was a poor attempt by a failing campaign to score cheap points during a national crisis. If Willard had a competent campaign behind him he would understand that you leave stupid remarks like this to your surrogates so you can step away from them if they don't play so well in the public.

It's disgusting that anyone would apologize to these savages. We live in a free country of over 300 million people, and there are plenty of videos being made all the time about religion, and hundreds of other topics that are offensive to someone or some thing. Apologizing for this is apologizing for who we are as a people and it is nauseating. The rest of the world is laughing at us right now because we have a narcissistic fool in the White House who is more concerned with himself than our country.

Islam is a Religion of Peace (LIE) so i think we should give these extremist a piece of our American minds, we continue to show weakness and Obama ignorantly thought we could "TALK" to people that would gladly die as long as they can take some Americans with them.

Killing an Ambassador is not an act of war, but when the Libyan Government was complacent in the act (they knew about it and did not provide security or warning) then it damn well should be an act of war.

We need to take care of terrorism, but then we do which destabilizes the region. I do not see that press release as an apology. I see it as a condemnation of religious bigotry and fear mongering and it was issued at the beginning of the protests and before the killings. I know better than to try to change anyone's mind, but I do feel like the timing of that condemnation is important.

The condemnation of the biggotry and fearmongering would have been better served if it had been addressed to BOTH sides of the issue.. It NEVER ceases to amaze me how this concern over the offended only goes ONE WAY..

The FIlm was the work of Private Citizens and NOT a matter of American Policy and as such,, it was NOT something for which the United States of America should have apologized for.. Even OBAMA came out and rejected the words of the embassy.. America needs not apologize for it's FREEDOMS to ANYONE.. And CERTAINLY not when INTERNATIONAL LAW is being violated during these attacks on Embassies by people who make American Religious Bigots look like Champions of ALL Religious Freedoms by comparison......

It's inexcusable to see the chaos in the region allegedly stemming from a video. To take a person's life is a sickening response to something so petty as a film. Thoughts and prayers of a nation go out to their families. The response from the President is just fine with me, but the facts will continue to be borne out. The immediate moving of warships and marines to the region was the right call with swift expediency. Cutting off aid abruptly probably isn't the way to go without the facts of an investigation, but there are moratoriums that can be put in place. Its done here after man made disasters, so the use of the practice is this area seems more then fitting. Not being an expert most couldn't give an appropriate response, but the temperament and swift action being shown now is sufficient.

I'm merely stating what has been overwhelmingly reported upon. You find it in me to condone such foolish and bullyish behavior. You have your opinion and I respect that. Unfortunately neither of us make foreign aid decisions. Aid to many countries is an intricate part of our alliance and geographical positioning to be able to respond quickly. It's never cut and dry so to speak. We cut off aid and we can't just occupy countries. So what's left when we're miles away from being able to respond or deter? Just a thought. Trust me I want to keep as much of our money here too.
