But looking at the List, there is musicians across the music genres and for Mitt Romney to get such a variety it tell you something about how people for such different walks of life feel about how our country is being ran.

He is getting support for the following communities:

Rap, Country, Rock, Heavy Metal, and Hip Hop/RnB

When in the 20 years of presidential elections has artist from those communities all together supported one person?

Rush doesn't so far as I can tell, but Alice Cooper (among others here) actually likes Romney so much that he made direct campaign contributions.
