Murder? Why when someone murders a pregnant woman, that person is charged with 2 counts of murder. But in the eyes of government, a thing in a woman is not a person until it is born. What am I missing?

We would have to then change the conception date to the birthdate and that is way to confusing for liberals. They use the unborn to their advantage anyway they can.

You're missing the obvious difference between a pregnant woman being murdered, and a woman who, for whatever reason, and with the advice and counsel of her OB/GYN, finds herself in the unenviable position of possibly having to terminate a pregnancy.

The "government" has nothing to do with it.

Because, left alone, and barring an abortion, the fetus will naturally develop into a baby. In some cases, the baby could be prematurely born and survive, with the mother dead.
