And the MSM hits yet another new low.

“I found that phrase, the “crown of motherhood,” really kind of creepy,” she said, “not just because of its, like, somewhat you know — it’s kind of usually authoritarian societies that give out The Cross of Motherhood, awards for big families, Stalin did it, Hitler did it.” Here's what Mrs. Romney wrote at USA Today Thursday that somehow reminded Goldberg of Hitler and Stalin:Here's what Mrs. Romney wrote at USA Today Thursday that somehow reminded Goldberg of Hitler and Stalin:

Cherish your mothers. The ones who wiped your tears, who were at every ball game or ballet recital. The ones who believed in you, even when nobody else did, even when maybe you didn't believe in yourself.

Women wear many hats in their lives. Daughter, sister, student, breadwinner. But no matter where we are or what we're doing, one hat that moms never take off is the crown of motherhood.

First, they conveniently forget that Hitler and Stalin were total hypocrites with that "cross of motherhood" stuff they spouted. They saw a woman as a machine. Baby pops out, baby goes to the creche to be brought up like a good little Nazi or Communist. Ann Romney has in mind that mothers stay with those kids and invest in them--more than the government wants her to.

Second, for them to invoke Stalin is like John Gotti invoking Al Capone as a symbol of evil. Peas in a pod. Two of a kind.

Third, "The obvious question then arises: How is your posterity to be provided?" Kudos to Gilbert and Sullivan.

Who would care what MSNBC said or did - they are a joke anyway and no one but radicals take them seriously.

Oh, good grief - to compare Ann Romney to Hilter/Stalin is absurd. I wouldn't even compare Pelosi and/or Wasserman-Schultz to either of them.

It would appear that Ms. Michelle Goldberg learned her lessons well at Holzhausen Ladies' College.
