In a segment on Friday with MSNBC weekend show host Melissa Harris-Perry, Thomas Roberts, one of the daytime news anchors for MSNBC, took aim at former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s Facebook page calling for a “Chick-fil-A appreciation day,” saying if you’re for gay marriage and go to Chick-Fil-A that day, “you’re a chicken-eating Judas.”

Thomas, who is vocal in his support for same-sex marriage, said, “So Mike Huckabee says that Aug. 1 should be Chick-fil-A appreciation day, asking people to go out there and support them that day,” Roberts said. “So if you like marriage equality and you’re for marriage equality, and you go there that day — you’re a chicken-eating Judas. That’s what I’m telling you.”

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum has also come out in support of the Aug. 1 appreciation day.

No, you oppressive ignorant totalitarian fool...I'm a dyed in the wool American who supports free speech and the free exercise thereof.

I have no problem with gay rights or gay marriage, but those rights DO NOT TRUMP EVERYONE ELSES.

People have a right to disagree in this country and the left needs to get used to that fact. They need to quit trying to tell other people what to think.

This is all that I expect from MSNBC. They are beneath the bottom feeders! I guess there was no news so they hit upon Chick-Fil-A for their beliefs. It is unfortunate that the government i.e. mayors of some cities would step in to control the market place with their bigotted spiel. Does not anyone other than the whacked out libs have a right to free speech and religion?? The libs are always coming out with tawdry nonsense. I guess they fail to see the logic of morality and use vulgarity in order to raise themselves to the status of bottom feeder. I don't waste my time listening to them as they have nothing to contribute.

I don't consider anything said on that lying MSNBC to be true. They have been caught more than once lying. Old Huck will take it with a grain of salt, just like he should.
