While magazines and TV chains report about the lives and love affairs of movie actors and actresses, football players and other celebrities, the Chief of the Kayapo tribe heard the worst news of his entire life:

Mrs. Dilma, the president of Brazil, has given her approval for the
construction of an enormous hydroelectric central (the world's third
largest one).

This means the death sentence for ALL the tribes
living at the shores of the river because the barrage will flood more or
less 400 000 hectares of the forest.

More than 40 000 natives will have to find other living surroundings where they will be able to survive.

The destruction of the natural habitat, the deforestation and the
disappearance of several species of plants and animals will be a fait
accompli.

We know that a simple image is the equivalent of a
thousand words, it shows the price to be paid for the "quality of life"
of our so-called "modern comforts."
There is no space in the world
anymore for those who live differently. Everything has to be smoothed
away, that everyone, in the name of globalization must lose his and her
identity and way of living.

If this enrages you, I urge and implore you to forward this message to all your friends, relatives and acquaintances.

Thank you in the name of life, nature and biodiversity.

They
scream about global warming and carbon footprints but they destroy the
things that make oxygen and get rid of the carbon, How insane is that!

This needs to be stopped. How selfish can we be, destroying our natural habitats? We need to stop cutting down our trees because pretty soon, there wont be any oxygen left for any of us. WE NEED TREES TO LIVE. ANIMALS NEED TREES FOR THEIR HOMES.

    IS THIS FOR REAL

I don't understand WHY anyone think that they can do destruction of the natural habitat, the deforestation and the
disappearance of several species of plants and animals, but most of all, this could mean the death sentence for ALL the tribes
living at the shores of the river because the barrage will flood more or
less 400 000 hectares of the forest.

And then destroy 40,000 natives living surroundings, for WHAT.

What is being done about this to try and stop this, has anyone asked the natives what they would like, do they want to move, or are they being push out?

Is they a petition to stop this?

How can I find out more about this, as there is always two sides to a story, and I'm willing to listen to both.

Can anyone out there help please.

The fact of the matter is that we, as a world Populous are slowly waking up to the global profiteering (by a select few) of our planets resources.
Unfortunately we are all individually responsible.
The best advice whilst it still remains applicable, is to research everything you feel the need to question.
For example: Do you eat meat? If you do, then it is worth sitting through the movie/documentary put together by a woman who belongs to the Netherlands parliament. It's called "Meat the Truth".
It will go some way to explaining that given the facts about what is really going on with regards climate change, we can and all should be doing something about it. Take care and good luck on your journey. ☤

The sad fact is, there are far too many people in the world. We're ravaging the planet and heading for a crash.

Not directed at anyone - but we should all be aware of what we are now doing to our living Earth (Heart if you move the H around).
Here's a wake-up call documentary on how Earths natural frequencies are being affected by mobile phones, and man made frequencies. Life on earth is being affected, including Bees.
