I don't care if he stole the hope diamond; a school principal does not, or should not, have the power to force a student to remove his or her clothes.

They stripped a child on the claims of a few students before having the girl retrace her footsteps? Sue them!!!!

Aside from the creepy undertones, there's no evidence that he still had the money on him. I would also consider strip-searching to be a trespass of person.

But, what if the kid is becoming a professional lie-yer? what if this is the chance of his life to learn that actions have consequences, this will stop him to become a criminal. .

Inappropriate. Should have called the parents and let them deal with it.

Another example of school systems not doing their job which is to educate not investigate.
Boy's parents should have been called, the boy is their responsibility. Asst. Principal should be suspended and the parents should sue the school system

Hold the kid in the Principal's Office and call the parents in. Let THEM strip search the kid - but the schools keep their nasty paws off. No chance for abuse of power for pederasts if that procedure is followed. Otherwise it's a violation, pure and simple.

Not without parents permission and presence. The kid would feel just as violated as if it were a pedophile, how can it be right?

no telling a 3rd grader to strip to his boxers is a little too far.

    I'm not sure.
It's understandable, and he wasn't ordered to fully strip or violated in any way.
I guess a cavity search may have been more effective.

Ridiculous. The assistant head should be sacked and if they do it again ban them from working in schools. That has no place in a lower school. And how on earth would that solve anything? If they find money on him, they can't prove whose it was.
