I think that before anyone is tried for a crime, they should be sentenced to 2 or more months of therapy and put in some kind of building (one building divided into two parts for separate genders and then ten parts so that each half could have five divisions of people ranking from Not Likely to Be Mentally Ill to Highly Likely to Be Mentally Ill ) with other people who are being psychologically evaluated before their trials so that they will only be with other people who are about as mentally ill as they are and not, say, be grouped with possible murderers when they only stole or something, and so that a psychologist can determine whether a person in their psychological state is likely to have commited the crime so that if they are innocent, they are more likely to be proven innocent, and if they are guilty, they are more likely to be proven guilty. And if, after a month or so in this place, their psychologist thinks they didn't commit the crime, or can safely live at home , they will be eligible for permission to stay at home while going to daily psychological appointments until their trial. This girl obviously has psychological issues, and I think that this, along with a psychologist in prison, would help her and has a better chance of changing her than prison alone does. I also think that prisons should have the mentally ill criminals in one building and the non-mentally ill ones should still have psychologists and if the psychologist thinks that the inmate is trying to change for the better, the inmate will be housed with other inmates who are trying to change for the better and the ones who aren't trying to change for the better will be in a separate building.
