Most are probably aware that the OFFICIAL name of North Korea is the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea"...Which of the options below come the closest to your opinion as to WHY North Korea uses such an official title?

And to persuade their own people.

While they Shake their fist and make their threats to the rest of the world,they tell their people how evil the rest of the world is and they will always be there to protect them. they keep the people dumb to what life is like elsewhere and teach them only what makes the government look like it is protecting the people.

It tells the world they are a communist nation. To its people the live in a democracy, everybody is equal and have squat. It pure 1984 doublespeak at its best.

What the current bunch in the Democrat crime family are pushing for is EXACTLY what they have in NK. "Democrat peoples" are for communism.

Under the Communist system, the state is supposed to represent all the needs of the people. The state is the sovereign and not individuals. Individuals are to service the desires of the all-knowing, all-powerful state, the true voice of the people.

The problems with the Communist system are:
1. Nowhere in the Communist Manifesto does it go into detail how the economic system is supposed to work;
2. This system never takes the human spirit into consideration;
3. The system assumes everyone is equal whether they are lazy, stupid or a hard worker.
4. No one is allowed to accumulate property which is the fruits of one's labors.
5. The state believes this system is fantastic for the people and if someone disagrees they will be forced to comply. If you complain too much, you can go to a re-education camp; if you still complain you may find yourself on the wrong side of the lawn.

Read the old Soviet Union's constitution - it almost sounds freer than ours! In practice it has meant the deaths of millions of people.

This says it all for me. Same kind of crap this new bunch of thugs in Washington are hiding under.

into beliveing they are like the US in freedom ... as those around the world discover a democracy is mob rule they will eventually tear down the establishment through violence or some type of coup as we have seen over and over again all around the world.

We the US of America are a Republic and through a democratic process vote our representatives into office. If we are not happy with their performance we can vote them out. You do not see this is socialist or communists countries as a rule.

Socialist and communist always try to say they are democratic! My wife from a formerly leftist controlled country said she saw all the seeds of socialism on Obama. The lies, deception, double speak, all of it!
