Mosquito Drones, already in use. What say you?

Is that a mosquito…NO! This is an "INSECT SPY
DRONE" already in production. With this it can be controlled from a
great distance and is equipped with a camera, microphone and can land on
you, and use it's needle to take a DNA sample with the pain of a
mosquito bite. Or it can inject a micro RFID tracking device under your
skin. It can land on you, and you take it in your home or it can fly
thru a window. Funny, don't you see your window of privacy getting real
narrow these days. They are preparing are you?
You!

The story can be true, but illustrating it with a 3D CGI image, which was made for a competition and won 3rd prize, well, it doesn't give too much credibility for sure: www.garmada.com --> VIS --> last image. The guy who made this image is my colleague... :)

This has got to be a joke. If true, privacy getting real narrow has to be the understatement of the year.

I think I will take to spraying so much mosquito killer in my back yard and on patio that if I see one, I will have to assume it's a "drone," and then will take a hammer to it.

I'm not going to worry about such things. They can track me anytime they want. Looking for a job isn't really that much of a threat to the government.............unless i get a job ahead of all the illegals that obama just granted amnesty to.

Better buy some before you need a prescription.

They aren't as small as this picture, but I'm sure Walmart has them scouring all the Target parking lots.

These will be a hackers wet dream as the ability to absorb and protect the data will become unmanageable.

We'll have to set up Tesla coil electronic firewalls around our homes.

What is Most Pathetic, this type of technology exists, or is on the way, and I still can't get a decent high speed Internet connection.

This is too sci-fi for me to believe. We don't have this sort of technology. In addition such a drone would not be able to survive in any sort of wind or wet environment. Thirdly we can't afford this. I'm not gonna call conspiracy...but I'm learning hard to it.

The CIA was among the earliest to tackle the problem. The "insectothopter," developed by the agency's Office of Research and Development 30 years ago, looked just like a dragonfly and contained a tiny gasoline engine to make the four wings flap. It flew but was ultimately declared a failure because it could not handle crosswinds.

Agency spokesman George Little said he could not talk about what the CIA may have done since then. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Homeland Security and the Secret Service also declined to discuss the topic.

Only the FBI offered a declarative denial. "We don't have anything like that," a spokesman said.
Usually when they deny it, it's true. :D

  • Kirino KCurtis 2012/06/16 06:40:51

The burden off proof is on you, not me. You claim it is real, so you must back up your point. This is basic logic.
  • KCurtis Kirino 2012/06/16 11:04:53
    KCurtis
I already did that, you're the one claiming it's fake.
  • Kirino KCurtis 2012/06/16 16:35:35

As I said before the image is a fake, so you proved nothing, because you have provide no sources or proof.
