Thomas the kitten died four days later. This isn't a good news for animals week. I am very unhappy.

True, but he died in a shelter and no question he felt some love and care before the end came.

You Tube says the kitten belonged to he man who found him in cement & cracked him out. In which case I don't know why the shelter took him except maybe he was too injured to stay at home & with wackos doing that to your cat then the cat wasn't safe on his property. But yes Thomas did die loved.

It was kind of hard to get the material without completely breaking down...and tear filled eyes miss a few things.

Note that these cruel people are members of a polygamist Mormon sect. They are not, like Mitt Romney, members of the largest Mormon group, the Latter Day Saints, or LDS. There are quite a few small Mormon splinter sects, who have their own practices.

We're talking about the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a Mormon sect that split off in the early 20th century in order to continue the controversial practice of plural marriage.

Like it or not, they're still calling thmselves Mormons--to the great detriment of conventional Mormons.

I can't even watch. Anyone who does such a thing should have the same thing happen to them... Of course, I don't really mean that, but I'd have a difficult time holding back my anger if they were in front of me. Forget "The Wrath of Kahn." They'd be facing "The Wrath of Mom." That's something my daughters know one does NOT want to face...

When I was in grade and high schools half-a-century ago, LDS Mormons practiced limited education of women. My Scottsdale, Arizona, public schools had to accommodate that.

Young LDS women were not supposed to advance too far in subjects like Math, Science, Geography, Industrial Arts (Shop), or Economics. They renamed courses to promote them to equivalents of Science and Math courses. 'Home Economics' became 'Home Science.' Credit for that kept LDS women out of Chemistry labs. If a renamed course was not available, schools offered special dumbed down classes. Mormon high school Biology had animal art and craft projects, with little else. Mormon 'Earth Science' taught Noah and the Flood.

Those of use who studied the real thing often objected when those who took dumbed down Mormon courses were given academic honors. Non-Mormons could not even register for the dumbed down courses.
