More Obama lies? Lawmakers contradict Obama's claimed that his war strategy has weaken the Taliban.

Hey Blackjack, I'm not sure people understood what you were looking for. If you read the yes, no, and other answers, they almost all agree with each other. I selected yes because I believe it's more Obama lies.
I watched a program last night called "Killing Bin Laden" which had a very interesting take on the Taliban. When Bin Laden's place was raided, they left with a lot of data ... hard drives, thumb drives, etc. it makes since that they have laid low. But only naive people, aka Obama, will believe that means they have been weakened. Obama has announced the departure date for Iraq and he's now doing it again with Afghanistan. They simply sit back and wait until we are gone and continue to build and make their organization stronger and wealthier.
Yes, it's more Obama lies. No, the Taliban is not weaker. Can the war against terror ever be won? Not the way we are going about it.

Diane Feinstein (D_CA) and Mike Rogers R_MI) just returned from Afghanistan as also stated on CNN's State of the Union that the Taliban is stronger.
But we are still giving this corrupt government fistsfull of dollars.
Go figure.

You mean there are actually people who thought we won this war or will ever win this war? I think this gives us all the more reason to just pack up and leave. Let Afghanistan become full of Taliban. It's not affecting my life.

So what would make you happy, wait until they've become so big that it creates a world war? Don't believe it would happen?
