VERY interesting artical on the changing face of the US. More asian (legal) immagrints are coming to the US. It is interesting to me to see what my granddad told me would happen is. He said that I should study Japenese or Manderine or both because that is what would be needed when I grew up....he was right about the influx. Maybe off a few years:)
As long as people that come here legally want to be American I don't care what their heritage is. With the US average births just under replacement level we will need them.
It will be interesting to me to see how they will change our country...with their faith I know many wonderful Catholic's and Buddists of asian decent. They do have a stronger work ethic depending where they come from. And stronger family ties as a culture.
I wonder if the government will redefine "minority" and throw out race based hiring and college admissions now......

Undecided+13Neither good or bad......just "is". When we have ever been anything but multi-racial, multi-cultural? From the earliest days: Spanish, English, Dutch, American Indian, African.....and so on. We are Americans if we choose to be, and I so choose.

The great ones.
Its Neoliberal Feminists (who are NOT Liberals) you speak off.
Muslim swear to kill all infidels (us)
All the fellow Americans I know, who've lived here all their lives, havn't found the "American Dream".
My grandad told me, that when America starts putting all of their emphasis on sports in college, rather than deal with academics( like they should), you will see the decline of the white world. Eaten up by gambling and other non-effective ways for long term commerce. He was English. And he is right.....Soyanora (sp) A vote for Romney is a vote for Chinese takeover. He's already been selling us out. Vote for Ron Paul.
How's THAT for blunt and to the point?
I find it interesting to see what people think about the changing demigraphic of the US...as with any change in flow of people there come a change in values....after a certain adjustment period.
