More Killed in Chicago this Year than Afghanistan

Quietman ~PWCM~JLA 2012/06/18 20:41:20
"As many as 200 Chicago police officers were assigned to provide extra security for the wedding of White House adviser Valerie Jarrett’s daughter, despite the fact that this year Windy City residents have been slain in greater numbers than U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan.

The Daily reports:

While 144 Americans have died in Afghanistan in 2012, a whopping 228 Chicago residents have been killed, and the murder rate is up a staggering 35 percent from last year. That’s a rash of homicides quadruple the rate of New York City’s, and police and crime experts fear it may only get worse.

Meanwhile, between 100 and 200 cops will provide protection at the wedding of Obama adviser Jarrett’s daughter:

In the midst of a recent homicide spike and prediction of a weekend weather scorcher, Sneed is told somewhere between 100 to 200 police officers will be dispatched to help “secure the perimeter” of a high-profile wedding in Kenwood.

The federal government did not pay for the police"

Richard Daley ,tried to run the machine his father mastered .Unfortunately ,the dollars aren't there, like before ,and the idiot wasted tax payers money on things like wrough iron fences ,and over the top parks. He shortchanged everything ,gave in to all the unions, letting ridiculous work rules get into contracts ,and hindered the police .He turned his back on gangs ,let em run wild ,and told legal citizens ,that in Chicago ,you can't own a handgun to protect yourself ,but the bangers could run around with all they could get ,until caught ,and released because of lack of witnesses ,or family covering for gang related relatives.

Do you really care how many druggies and street hoodies are killed in Chicago this year?
I suppose you also are concerned about the 6,000 or so that will be killed in Mexico? Sometimes things like that "just happen", when people exercise their "Second Amendment Rights" and "stand their ground" when a rival gang tries to take over the street corner that is your "small business". Move on, make some action for Mitten or levy some other attack at Holder or Obama.

Ahhhh, and the games have begun for a springboard into Martial Law.

Where's Jesse and Wright when all these killings are going down in their neighborhoods? Where was the Fraud-Us whilst this was happening. Last weekend was worse. During the NATO summit, there were even more shootings and killings and zero was mentioned until last weekend. Obunder was here and could have called a press conference to address this with Jesse and Wright, pleaded to the southside neighborhoods and gangs, but hell no.

Arm the gangs, take away the citizens rights, not one peep from the "Brothers" nor the left and that is a perfect concoction for ML. This is what the commie left wants. Hell, it isn't even summer yet. It's going to get much worse.

Daley always let these things go under the radar ,and those guys are too chicken to go right to the source ,they would rather march in safe places surrounded by other targets .I live 50 miles north, and am happy for it. Chicago has sunk to new lows ,but it seems like the new mayor could make some changes ,and I hope he does.

Conrontational? I like spirit, and maybe you should check my profle out.I don't think you know me very well .No ,I stay outta Chicago, cause my military experience has taught me to protect myself, and own any handgun I wishto ,and the depicable Mayor Daley squelched the rights of the citizens of Chicago ,and I would never live under those conditions, Im more into the country really. I don't mean offense to your city ,I was born there ,and my family moved north as the nieghbor hood was changing for the worse.BTW, I was referring to the two so called human rights activists you mentioned that love to show up when the cameras are rolling .You I respect for sticking it out down ther ,and it does show strength.

I was going to scope it out but I was sorta busy laughing! Okay, seriously. I despise what has been going on here and last summer was no picnic. They actually closed beaches out here because of roving punks.

Daley sure as did squelch our rights. I didn't know how bad it got here with all the pollies and Daley's antics or crimes would be more apropos. I was visiting here back in September, 2001 for my Mom's BD and well we all know what happened and I lost my job the day after. So, here I am (ugh), and no wonder why I moved out in the 80s.

I grew up in Lincoln Park where it was family oriented and was not gentrified by yuppies. We didn't have it easy and our school was infiltrated by every gang you could think of when they closed two schools and bused them into our school and almost destroyed our neighborhood. We molotoved our own park to get rid of those scumbags. It worked. They thought we were insane. Next morning, we had 5 gallon buckets of paint, sod, brushes and fixed our park up. We never got messed with again.

I despise how they have hijacked a beautiful city with hard-working people. Daley should be tried. The money from the skyway was suppose to last for 75 years "they" said, and guess what? Didn't last four. Hmmmmm, money in Oblunder's coffers, you thi...

I come from a very strong military family and plan "B" is always better than plan A. Highly doubt if I will last the summer. I may not be able to get out. This will be the most violent of summers, and CPD are out-weaponed...I shudder to think of the crime stats every a.m. I don't even break out my phone on the el; I don't even bring my laptop on the train, the bus, yeah, not the subway. It is a cesspool.

Well, thanks for the compliment and thank you for your service. All the best to you and yours. I tell my friends not to worry about me. I worry about others. We have provisions. ; )

    Regards,

Well ,at least I supplied some humor .the political machine the older daley started has bent this city over with debt ,and I do feel bad for it .both were more interested in making things look good to outsiders ,and damn the citizens. at least the new mayor is trying to break this ,and I wish him luck. I've been told ,I'm crazy, snaky, and aother things ,and could never go back there ,cause I would kill as many of these freakin gang bangers I could, and that would be all for me ,which in a sense would be kinda glorious .(I told you I'm considered snaky) so ,it's better I stay here away from the cameras ,and things they put up, and never seem to watch. But things that happen there are affecying the whole state ,and some gang activity has moved north to here .well, it's their choice ,and they better not encroach on me ,cause they'll be more than suprised by the welcome I have for creeps like that. I feel bad for the Chicago people ,and remember going down with my parents, and grandparents to see Buckingham fountain, and zoos ,and the stores on State street. the actions in the service have taken any innocence I ever had left ,and I do stand for my fellow vets ,and current military, which has my utmost respect. Good luck, and I hope no one tries any crap on you, or your family.

Awesome, are you sure I don't know you?

You are more than welcome and I share your sentiments. As I stated, I am out of here. No way will I get stuck here if Marshall Law happens, and if they can't do anything about the gang problem, well, they haven't said anything about it at all, we know what will transpire. It's happening in many major cities. If you read some of my comments above, you will see that there are those that know and not being conspiracy theorists and then there are those that just go along blindly. Nope. I am a tiger and I know what you mean by snaky. That is definitely ingrained and let's just say my bro is one hell of a "don't f*ck with him" guy! ; )

Thanks again for your service and I know you ride. I could tell. We probably crossed paths at a pig roast or two. Never know! Take care, Man.

I'll be fine. I have no doubt about that. Dad and my bros and the guys in my hood didn't treat me any differently. Either you could hang or you were in the dust. I never liked the taste of dust. ; ) Good day to you, and ride hard, ride free.

I've sen you before, and see where you're coming from .This is the internet, and too many put on a show with no substance. Thanx for the invite, and if you can put up with somebody like me ,that's good. One thing about life in Chicago ,it does make the tough tougher ,and the weak gone. Thumbs up to you lady, and ride it like you stole it.
