Iceland’s
special prosecutor into the banking crisis has confirmed that raids
have taken place today and that arrests have been made. The Central Bank
of Iceland is among the institutions under investigation.

Special Prosecutor, Olafur Thor Hauksson told Visir.is that house
searches are taking place in at least three places today as part of
investigations into the central bank, MP Bank and Straumur Bank.

Stefan Johann Stefansson at the central bank confirmed that agents
were in the building conducting searches; and it has also been confirmed
that searches are underway at MP Bank and ALMC (formerly Straumur).

An ALMC spokesman said that the premises are indeed being searched
and that the bank’s staff members are doing their best to help.

In other news, four people have so far been arrested today in
connection with the special prosecutor’s investigation into Landsbanki.

One of the arrested parties is Jon Thorsteinn Oddleifsson, former
Landsbanki treasury boss; and it is not yet known who the other three
are.

According to Visir.is sources, the arrests concern a brand new
section of the wider case against the bank and are not directly
connected to searches and arrests made last week.

when due process fails anarchy rules. This country has to learn the hard way. Failure to repeal the federal reserve and bring back honest banking can very well lead to anarchy. The banksters most go.

Now here's a country that gets it.
A raid on the Fed is what is needed. The military and plenty of paddy wagons to take them away.

The reason that you don't see that happening in the U.S. is because when the bankers are outed, the politicians are directly behind them and then the lawyers and judges who have been unlawfully offering work arounds for them for the past 50 years.

Works for me. Be certain to sentence those convicted to the general population of a maximum security facility. No country clubs for white collars, please.

When the government decides it's job is enforcing laws rather than taking over the private sector. Wow, wouldn't that be novel a government actually doing what it is suppose to do -- protect the people!

In this country we pay them bailouts, then they pay themselves bonuses and make campaign contributions and make sure the " approved " projects get funding.

Right, and they don't even have to embezzle anything. It should be illegal for them to make campaign contributions to either side. That has to be unfare to the taxpayers, on one side or the other.

They aren't arresting bankers in the US because the greatest heist of all time was perpetrated by Bank CEO's... who were in cahoots with certain members of our Government ...who control the policing agencies. You'd have to jail those Political leaders most involved, and the Bankers, to bring the perpetrators to justice.

If there are no arrests in this "country", there will be lynch mobs forming. The police need to decide if they want to be on the side of a few criminals, or tens of millions of enraged victims of their on going crimes.

If this were to play out this way - I really don't think we would be able to rely on the police to do the right thing. (Some would, but I think they will be out numbered) They have been "conditioned" to take action against their own people. So many times have we seen them being given orders to gas protesters and they did it without hesitation.

I think you are correct in your assessment. We Oath Keepers have been trying to get the word out to all the uniforms, with some success I must say (enough that DHS/SPLC has labeled us terrorist, anyway), but at the end of the day it will be the individual who has to decide wither to shoot or not... I hope they make the right decision.
