Yay and nay. I don't need any ones permission to kill a douchebag trying to come in my house... Once they are in...they die. But I guess she was smart to call and try and cover her ass.

Shoot then call! Protect yourself and your child. No one should mess with a mother with her child.

I say yay and nay. You should be able to defend yourself in your own home without asking permission, but at least she did to be sure.

No way! Shoot intruders first! Ask questions later!!! But remember, the police, lawyers and judges love criminals and they protect them!

What would judges, lawyers and cops do for a living if there were no criminals?

I would just shoot the person, but remember she is very young and in a terrifying situation. I hope she is getting support from friends and family.

She did exactly what the Constitution gave her a right to do. Shame on all those who want to take away that right and put mothers and babies in harms way.
Okay i will read the question better next time. the choice should have been nay. she does not need permission to protect herself and her son before hand.

The idea that we would need permission from a government official to defend ourselves is highly offensive to me.

Yay for shooting them and having one less crook around. However don't ask just shoot them and be done with it, of course it's better if they're not alive then they can't try to sue you.
