Kicking the vice presidential sweepstakes into overdrive, Mitt Romney Tuesday announced his running mate’s staff — but is still debating when to unveil his actual choice for No. 2 on the GOP ticket. Sources close to the Romney campaign told the Daily News the working plan has been to announce the pick after the Olympic Games, which begin next week and conclude Aug. 12 — two weeks before the Republican convention in Tampa.

I would love Palin or Bachman. But I think he will pick John Kasich. Who is also a great choice.
* The Associated Press count, source for most news media, has consistently presented inflated, misleading and inaccurate figures. The "AP Delegate Tracker" (http://hosted.ap.org/interac... betrays a casual disregard for precision, e.g., with this clearly false statement: "Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney became the Republican party's presidential nominee by crossing the threshold of 1,144 delegates to the GOP national convention this summer." This is simply false.

Edit: So you see, this is just a bunch of hipe. He can pick who he wants but he doesn't even know if he is the Nominee yet. We shall see after the Convention.
You are right about her being an amazing public speaker and not wanting to be VP though.
I don't think so. Remember that Condi Rice would be an African American conservative going up against an African American liberal. Given that choice, most African Americans would vote for the latter.
Obviously I wouldn't vote for Obama either. I'd either find a suitable-to-me third-party candidate to vote for, or I would abstain from voting.
Abstaining would be bad, but for me to enable the slaughter of unborn babies (by voting for any candidate who supports it) would be a grave sin. I ain't doing it.
Picking Condi is too far left for the Tea Party.
She is a black, female, intellectual... that will attract millions.
However, I believe that Marco Rubio will be the pick. Has he dropped out the polls? I haven't seen that...why is he not listed?
