Sad that you would mock it. Ever since Kennedy beat Nixon in 1960 it was known that a tan makes a white man look "healthier" thus more capable of getting the job done.
Obama doesn't have that issue to deal with.
The lighting and the camera also have an effect on color density and tint, especially with skin tones. I have no doubt that he tans regularly. I don't know by what method.

I'm now a Libertarian too, registered last week, but we both know that it's going to be Obama or Romney and Obama leads in the polls. It looks like you're mocking Romney to draw off some of the non-white vote. I have already stated why I think he tans himself, All tanning wears off so perhaps the Univision interview seemed like a good time for a refresher. Who knows? But to mock him for it shows malice.

I have a white friend who owns a tanning salon in a town that has few people of color as residents, and she does a thriving tanning business.Obviously those people aren't tanning to pander or to try to fit in.
I don't need her services because I have enough Native American and maybe some African (my tribe adopted runaway slaves) genes that I'm usually as dark as she is without even spending time in the sun. I spend most of my time indoors and never go sit in the sun. She' jealous of my skin.
But I know that most white people (except goths and white supremacists) think it is healthy to not be pasty white.

Look at most white male movie stars of Romney's generation, George Peppard, Burt Reynolds, even Arnold. They all get tanned..
