Romney is not well known because he is a chameleon, changing his views to fit the audience, so the average voter thinks there are many Mitt Romneys. The voters are not sure which of the many Romneys they know. It is a lot like ask if John Smith is well known.

Your selections are as witless and narrow minded as you are....Unlike Obama who has almost every News Paper and Television station in his back pocket, having an organism every time he speaks what would one expect? Unless people are smart enough to be able to find more neutral stations that still know how to separate the news from the Obama tools they will never get both sides of the debate.

Actually bpf, newspapers and television station usually survey out at about 63% conservative. That line about the media being liberal was started by candidate Richard Nixon when newspapers surveyed supported Nixon at 67%. I am a conservative, but come on man, we can't believe the people who compromise our principles with lies. Think for your self. We need a decent candidate to represent our beliefs. One who actually believes as we do. Romney is not that man and I suspect that in your heart you know that. There is a strong movement going to run another candidate. Join Us. Help us find a true conservative as our nominee.

Chaz, I respect your opinion, but I have researched Romney and there is almost no issue on which he has not taken at least 2, if not 4 or more stances depending on the audience he was speaking to. I don't like name calling but what do you call someone, who tells different people, different things. Do you remember his campaign aide saying that now that he has won the Republican nomination, Romney would have to change his stances for the National election? Is this a man that you really respect or do you think we could have come up with a better candidate?

What a waste of potential. Have you ever considered actually applying your brain to a path of thought, instead of just following the mindless masses who do not research for themselves? It certainly appears that all of your comments are driven by "my loyalty to party and left leaning media" rather than "my ability to decide by the facts presented through actually listening to what the candidate and incumdent have said, compared to what they have done. News reports are not "records", because the reporters contort the meaning of a speech. A "record" would be the ACTUAL speech that you can see and hear, then back up what they said by research - not by asking a friend, but by looking into public records to verify. I feel that many, if not the majority, don't do any REAL research, they just listen to their friends, relatives, and news reporters. If everyone would forget the reporters comments, just listen to what the person actually says, then see if they live up to what they say, there would be a lot of opinions changed. Will there ever be a time when people stop relying on comments of others and only listen to the candidate? I sincerely doubt that, most people are too lazy to get the truth for themselves, they would rather listen to SPIN.

Well, maybe he is well known and people just don't like him. I'm a republican and all I can say is: You can fool some of the people all of the time. And you can fool all of the people some of the time. But, you can't fool all of the people all of the time. That's what Romney tries to do. No voice on the "Disclosure Act". No transparency on the personal tax issues. No explanation on the simple plan to create jobs. And no plan on boosting economic growth. He's lost so many times because people don't care for him, but, with casino, Arabic, and Red Chinese Communist support of his superpack ( all of which Romney claims he doesn't like gamblers, Muslims and Commies) people are seeing through him as trying to FOOL EVERYONE ALL THE TIME. And, I agree, it can't be done. Why in the world did the republican party give we republicans such an utterly wrong choice?
People just don't like his kind.

The answer is that people are too concerned with ESPN, family guy, american idol, video games to learn a damn thing about any of the candidates. People vote on party loyalty but it's both the republican and democrats that are destroying this country. There is no difference between dumney or barry.

In a lot of respects you are correct, both candidates are similar. But the major difference is that Romney hasn't had a chance to prove himself a liar yet, but Obummer has lied to America for 4 years. We have proof that one candidate IS A LIAR by his (non)performance as our "Apologizer-In-Chief". Why give him another 4 years? Because he's so good at lying? Romney may be a liar as well, but I'm willing to hear another voice for a while, I think it's time to change the channel. And beside that, we're already on the brink of collapse, could we really do any worse with someome different than with the one who drove us deeper into the "DITCH" that HE SAID he would "GET US OUT OF" during his "FIRST THREE YEARS"? I don't think things would be any worse with Romney, and could possibly even be better. But if Obummer follows true to form, we will undoubtedly go “FORWARD" over the edge into oblivion, which I believe is just what he and the Progressives (formerly Socialists) are looking "FORWARD" to.

During the debates, dumney openly said he supports the patriot act, NDAA, TSA / Homeland security, spy drones. America was fought for and won for freedom. That was our pride for centuries, freedom. Freedome is always the first concern of any red blooded, patriotic American and dumney is as big a socialist as barry. I will be voting for gary johnson and freedom. You are aware that Romney had to take out an FDIC loan when the original Bain company was going bankrupt, are you not? His business expertise is buying companies, often profitable, job producing ones that he saddles with debt, dismantles, fires the workers and keeps the profits. How is this expertise going to help our country produce jobs. We need to dump Romney and get a decent candidate. See my response to Phil above, also. Obama has not been bad for the economy even if he hasn't been great. We have to stay within the boundaries of truth or the undecided voters see right through our statements.

Romney does not want people to know who he is or what he does or represents. That's why when he talks, he sounds so odd, and will not give specific details on anything. And no one has explained to me why a vulture capitalist would make a good president.
