Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan: Back to the Failed Top-Down Policies

Mopeder 2012/08/11 18:42:28

Paul Ryan is the mastermind behind the extreme GOP budget plan. It's a plan Mitt Romney endorses.

But what does that budget mean for America? The GOP budget plan hurts seniors, it hurts middle-class families, and it hurts students. All to pay for tax cuts for those at the top..

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan: back to the failed top-down policies that crashed our economy.

Back to socialism for the rich. When will phony conservatives ever learn that doing the same thing over and over again that leads to economic melt downs will\ not change the outcome. They will crash the economy.

I can determine by your comments here that you are unaware of the "budget" proposal that Ryan has made in the House of Reps, which brought him enough attention to be given this appointment as the V.P. candidate. Go to the USHouseofReps website and read the lnk to his proposals. Your questions will be answered, which can't be explained fully here within reasonable limits of space and time.

Then, why do you repeatedly post comments denying the most obvious aspects of his proposals, and ask questions that are easily addressed by a first reading of his plans? Either you don't know, or you attempt to disguise his obvious proposals with denials and pretentions of ignorance. I suggest, if you are ashamed of the blatent pillage he proposes, just leave the conversation alone and not try to make of his plans what they obviously are not.

Dave, I encourage careful reading which leads to understanding, which then allows one to select the most appropriate and descriptive adjectives to describe the realities one has discovered. That is very much why I challenged you to read Ryan's budget proposals in their source, not rely on someone's spin or disguised interpretation of what he and Mitten are up to. Thank you for noting the careful description I made of Ryan's proposal.

I don't watch or listen to any major news networks. not cnn, cbs, nbc, abc, npr, fox, etc. i read peer review journals, professional papers, and professional journals. I glean relevant information from different sources and make my interpretations based on my experience, common sense, and innate knowledge. I attend and participate in lectures and talks in person and online. I don't do spin or hyperbole. I believe that anyone who thinks that the two party system is good for this country is blind and ignorant. I enjoy debate, and I enjoy pulling people's chains. I enjoy playing devil's advocate. I educate myself on topics of the day and topics of the day from 300 years ago. I enjoy getting on sites such as this because it is a good way for me to release a little steam.

Well I am not surprise ... Mittens picks the guy that want to stick it to 98% of Americans ... I can not wait until the President and Biden start comparing and contrasting the differences in policies. Mittens is such a gump he introduce Ryan as the next President ... the comedy begins.

If these two are elected it will be the end of the Middle Class and riots by the poor and the seniors. YEP I said seniors. They will march on DC the instant these hucksters go after SS/Medicare and Medicaid.

Frankly I would not want to be in the Secrete Service squad guarding either one of them nor the FBI units investigating problems addressed at either one of the.

BULL!!! PUKIE!!! Read the RYAN BUDGET. He attacks BOTH front on and effectively guts them as ENTITLEMENTS.

THEY ARE NOT ENTITLEMENTS. They are bought and paid for by the people who have been FORCED to put their hard earned money into them. I for one will not tolerate one single cut in either of them of which I was led to believe I would be receiving.

That's called "retroactive denial of claim" against my bought and paid for program contributions.

BELIEVE ME, those two and the Tea Baggers try to do anything to SS/Medicare and they will have 125 MILLION Americans rapping on the doors of the representatives offices and on the doors of Congress so fast it will look like the second coming just got there, Cause their won't be a single one of them left in office within 5 months of the time they try it.

the fact that you use the term "teabagger" shows how much of a bigot you are.

and the fact that you feel that ryans' plan will upset what you have been promised shows how ignorant of the facts you are. why don't you try reading the plan?

and while you're at it, why don't you read obamas' budgets, you know, the ones he cannot get past congress?? ryans' plan balances the federal budget and creates surpluses past 2060. obamas' never balances the budget

Dave, you really shouldn't try this. You haven't read Ryan's budget plan and have reminded us of that several times on this page. I've recommended reading it but you still post comments that so prove you haven't any idea what he has proposed.

Best to not elect any of them to office in November and avoid the inevitable crisis they are pledged to create for their sponsors. These are dangerous and driven people, the sponsors, and they have a large following of RWNJs who haven't any idea of the depth of the pillage intended. They don't even recognize the destruction already caused by thrity years of "Reaganomics" and collapse of the economy in 2008. It's as if such never happened, the "conservative agenda" never existed, and, of course, Global Warming also doesn't exist. These are not people who can be reasoned with as they live in a world of their own making and deny all reality not to their liking.

You really don't have a clue as to just how much wealth seniors still control do you?
You say you're 70 but you are acting like a foolish 25 year old who thinks he has the world by the short hairs.

A little community here in AZ is one of the richest in the nation. The deposits made to banks here each month are in excess of $150 MILLION dollars.

Yep, 36000 residents each with incomes in excess of $5000 per month. I know DOZENS of these people and they are one very pissed off group right now and are in a very active status right now. There is considerable discussion about throwing the Republican Office OUT of the community al together.

RWNJs think their NRA is a strong lobby group for weapons manufacturers/ They have a lesson to learn about lobbyists when they encounter the AARP, although it is owned by Hartford Insurance Company which might actually welcome the demise of Medicare and Social Security and force the elderly to buy policies from them, adding to the cost of medical care by their 50% overhead and profit margins. God, this whole mess becomes intolerable when you introduce the greed motive into the equation.
