Really? This is what you define as a substantive difference between the candidates? How different are they on getting rid of the current tax code? Or on printing money? Or on the federal reserve not spending anymore than it takes in? How different are they on ending all corporate welfare and all foreign aid? How different are they on going back to the gold standard? How different are they on repealing two federal laws for every new one that is passed (The Stossel Rule)? How different are they on shutting down military bases in any of the 130+ countries where we have them where there is no imminent threat to the United States? How different are they on repealing the immoral and unconstitutional Patriot Act and FISA Amendments?
I think my friend that the policies of the two candidates are all but identical on virtually anything that matters.

Obama could have checked the extra tax box on his returns and done what he says is the right thing to do. For some reason he says he wil not do what he says is the right thing to do unless he is forced to. I am thinkingObama is more a mouse then a man.

Such voluntary donations are but a grain of sand on a beach. Our country's deficit won't get paid unless EVERYONE contributes together.

Obama donated the entire $1 million Nobel Prize award. That showed a lot of soul. Donating to one's own church is self-serving, especially if one HAS to donate to remain a bishop.

Obama gave away $1 million nonetheless. And that $1,000,000 meant a lot more to the Obama's than it would have to Romney, since Romney has several hundreds of them anyway.

I don't mind money going to a church. Just know that Romney HAS to tithe to remain a member "in good standing". If he stopped tithing, he would lose his position of status in the church. That's how it works.

Obama and the demonrats haven't passed a budget in 4 years. They don't have a budget, they don't have a plan to grow the economy, they don't have a plan to make a plan. In order to get our deficits under control, we must stop spending money we don’t have. We are facing a deficit and debt crisis because we spend too much, not because we tax too little. Our nation is in an historic debt and deficit crisis that threatens to leave future generations worse off than their parents. We are not in this situation because the government is taxing too little; we’re here because Washington is wastefully spending far too much.

We have other problems besides the debt. Remember, Reagan taught us deficits don't matter!
